Don't waste your money
I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to so other people don't get ripped off. I received the drive on Feb 24th 2019. I bought it so I could take all my DVD's and rip them to MP4 files to use on my 4K TV. First problem I had was after putting a few files on it I plugged it into my TV and it couldn't read the files. I started to return it to Amazon, but after chatting with their tech support they had me format it differently(little did I know I just should of returned it then). It let me copy the files to it and the TV could read it just fine. Then after spending 3 weeks ripping my DVD's to MP4 files, I went to rip another one and it said the drive was corrupt. I then chatted again with Amazon to return for a refund, but it was 2 days past the return date and they said they couldn't generate a return label for it I have never had a problem returning things with Amazon. They let me return an HP laptop that was past the return date. Why not this?

Not 512gb
This is a fake, ran a program to test read and write, it is a smaller drive formatted to look like 512gb

Not very good
Ordered two of the 512gb, had to return both. Most of all files that I put on them were corrupt, and unreadable. I tried other USB flash drives to make sure it wasnt my computer, it wasn't. Amazon made it easy to return though.

Get what you pay for.
Received USB drive. Formatted it. Seemed like everything was OK. Then started randomly losing data. And files and folders getting corrupted. Reformatted a few times with similar results. Returned item. Learned lesson to purchase a reliable brand next time.
