At first, I was going to rate the brace as 4 stars. It gives great support for hiking and other strenuous activities where a lighter, pull-on brace won’t. I subtracted a star for the difficulty of putting it on. There were MANY adjustments to be made for each strap. And most of those adjustments had to be redone with each wearing. But still…worth it for the protection. But, after two months of wearing it a couple of times a week, the adhesives on the straps stopped sticking and it is worthless so, if you want something for an occasional hike, it may last for a couple of years. Otherwise, it is an overpriced low quality brace.

Almost exactly as good as the one dispensed from the orthopedic surgeon. Bottom velcro strap is a bit snug, but will relax over time.

I had to use a stretchy ace to keep them in place.
