A beginners A/V tech must have!
I bought this on a whim, to help me belt out BNC cables in mass. And holy cow if i only had this when i first started my professional journey! The flaring works perfect, and connectors go on super easy. and the f connector tool is a life saver. I think if i had it earlier it would have saved me a lot of finger pain and rework when i was younger.A must buy!

It does work, but its not all that.
This did work and I did use it ..I will use it again - but it didn't work as well as I was led to believe. I will continue to use it to see if I can make it work better.

It just works. No bells and whistles. Fits both RG-59 and RG-6 cables.
It just works. Don't expect bells and whistles. As you can see in the picture, each of the "arms" has a description on it indicating that it fits both RG-59 and RG-6 cables. And the third "arm" of this flaring tool has a F-Type connector fitting so that it can hold your F-Type connector as you push it on to the RG-6 (or RG-59) cable. If the cable sheath is being extremely stubborn, you may want to warm it up first with a heat guun or hair dryer before using this flaring tool.

Really cool tool
I purchased this tool for a buddy who recently has spent a significant time rewiring homes (his father is a contractor and occassional flipper and he freelances as an IT professional) for IT solutions. My home has old cable coax rewiring not necessarily suited for broadband cable internet. He came by yesterday and tested this tool out and it worked like a charm. He made reference to having seen Comcast field techs using similar (but more hefty pro tools) to perform the same functions, while he spent more time without said tools to achieve the same result. He mentioned that this tool would have saved him hours on prior jobs and will save him significant time on future projects. Suffice to say he was tickled pink. He literally said those words while cheerfully laughing. I'd say this is a helluva good tool to have if one is going to be doing projects concerning installation of coax cables.

Doesn't do anything
Product does not make putting on F connectors any easier. Don't waste your money. Not functional.
