Worth the $20
For $20 you get a very basic Dash Cam. While the instructions (Chinese AND English) are not the greatest, they are enough. If all you want is to capture what is going on in front of your car; take the unit out of the box, insert your SD card (you buy it), mount the camera, run the power cable, plug it in. It will turn on and off with your ignition. You can view the recordings either using the built in screen - not bad, or with your computer - better. The night vision is just what you can see with your eyesight. The unit does not provide a light source.Again, it is worth the $20 - if you want more then pay more.UPDATE: 6/14/19 I uploaded a video showing actual footage of night vision. Not real good but should be enough to determine fault in event of an accident.

Great product!
Fantastic picture! Seriously a great picture.Easy to use and setup.Dual cameras - in the car and out front if you want - or whatever you want! They are adjustable!

Dash cam works Excellent!
Because the next person who hits me will be on camera.It works great, records excellent video and audio with time and date stamps. Every time my ignition turns on I hear the ring of it starting to power on and record. When I turn off the car and just about when I go to shut my door I hear the ring of it turning off.Running the power wire and finding a nice place to stick the camera on my windshield took some planning and forethought but that'd be true for any dash cam.So far I've posted two videos from it online and shared a video of a semi truck driver with the state police.When you hit the brakes it takes pictures as it records video... which is nice for accidents or sharing the Moose you almost hit in Vermont.I recommend cleaning a spot on the windshield really good before installing the suction cup mount. I chose to mount it on the right side of my rear view mirror because that space in the windshield is already blocked by the mirror.I bought the specified type and max size SD Card and it works perfectly to transfer video and pics from the camera to my computer.I gave it four stars on the battery, it doesn't last more than three minutes without being plugged in. Durability gets four stars because I feel like the SD card slot wasn't well engineered for long term durability.

Waste of my money
Purchased 2 cameras (for my husband’s and my cars) a month ago. Motion sensor doesn’t stay on; after vehicle restart, the camera resets and doesn’t keep the settings, so you have to go back in settings and turn it on again and so every time you start the car. Contrary to claims, camera does not stay on when vehicle is off, which was one of the reasons I purchased it to have a continuous surveillance of my car, especially after it got damaged while parked by another vehicle parking in front of mine; yes, I read the instructions and inserted and charged the battery. I come back to my car 1 hour later and camera is off, records merely 5 minutes before it shut down. Picture quality is average. Night vision is poor, it’s all smudged and you couldn’t read a license plate of a vehicle ahead of yours. It often pops message “memory full” during which of course nothing is being recorded; this requires formatting the 32 gb card yet again (7 times in one month), which means there’s no claimed continuous loop recording; I did try different settings to no avail. Yesterday it turned on and just froze solid when I started the car, so I had to remove the battery to shut it off and then reinsert it. Very disappointed; after reading specs and reviews and seeing how everyone is raving about how awesome it is, I thought it was too good to be true for the price, and unfortunately I was right. I had a much better dual-cam, but the charging port got damaged so it doesn’t charge. My husband is having same issues with his camera and for the lack of patience he just gave up and ignores it. Sadly, the only thing good about this camera is suction cup.Update: now it doesn’t recognize the card that’s been there since day one. Wish I could return it. What a total garbage
