PlugLug HDMI Cables (25 feet, White)…

May be I had unlucky with these Pluglug - 25 feet because I got failed to set 3840 x 2160 at 50Hz or 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sub-sampling / RGB.My system is Nvidia GTX 980Ti / i7 6th gen / LG 4K 65UF8600. The best setting that 25 feet cable can pass is 2160p at 60Hz with 4:2:0 chroma sub-sampling that use only 50% less bandwidth than 4:4:4.(For PC user please make sure that your setting is real RGB / 4:4:4 YCbCr because PC auto config to choose 4:2:0 with TV monitor type)

Edit 6/26/17: This was before inexpensive "Certified Premium" cables became available, so if you need a full 18Gbps rated cable then I recommend one of those, which you can search for by "Certified Premium HDMI" and you'll find some good choices available now, at about the same price as this... but at the time this cable was a very pleasant surprise.First off, NO, all HDMI cables are NOT the same, especially when pushing high amounts of data over 15 ft or longer. Even when trying cables claiming to support 18gbps, VERY few actually deliver at 25 ft and this speed is exactly what many of us enthusiasts needs supported when using a PC connected to a 4K TV.This cable actually delivers exactly what it should (4k@60p with full 4:4:4 chroma) at the full 25 ft length, with NO cutouts or artifacts. HIGHLY recommended, I don't think you'll find a 25 ft cable any cheaper that actually reliably delivers a full 18gbps connection. Perfect for those who who now or later will eventually go for a 4k TV and want a 25 ft HDMI cable reliable enough to use as a computer monitor without spending much.Remember, not all TV's even support 4:4:4 chroma, which provides the full color signal important for clear text when using a 4K TV as a computer monitor, so for many this situation doesn't won't for you, but just goes to show how much this cable can be trusted for any situation.It also is a reasonable 26 awg thick, which is not excessively thick and stiff. After trying 4 others that were cheaper than this, I was starting to think I'd have to go with a more expensive 24 or 22 awg thick cable to get the signal reliability of this cable, but nope, this one performs flawlessly.Bottom-line: Seriously, some people are spending literally HUNDREDS to get the performance that this cable provides for a cool twenty bucks! Don't hesitate to buy this of you don't want to waste your time looking for different cables to try

I bought this cable when trying to troubleshoot an HDMI handshake problem with my projector. I thought all the shielding would make for a more reliable connection. But instead, this cable only added to my problems. If I wiggled the end plugged in to the HDMI source, it lost connection. Every time. I ended up plugging the old cable back in, which doesn't have the same problem.I do not know if the cable is defective, or if it is just a little bit incompatible with the HDMI source socket (e.g. not able to plug in all the way).It is not worth the trouble to return this cable, or it would be going back.

This is my second order for the same cable (the third 25' one I've bought). They seem like very high quality cables at a reasonable price. I had to cut the casing from around the plug of one cable in order to fit it though small hole in our wall (long story, but this was the only option). This turned out to be quite difficult because under the plastic was a solid metal sheath that protected the wire and plug very well - I had to use a hacksaw, pliers, and a lot of effort to get it off. In spite of my sawing, twisting, and pulling to get the cover off, the actual connection and cable still work fine. Now that it is through the tight spot, I plan to epoxy the cover back onto the plug. I was favorably impressed with the quality and durability of this cable. It is also rated for in-wall installation.

This cable arrived packaged well and worked perfectly the first time I connected it between my laptop and my 55" 4K Sony flatscreen. No more squinting at the small fonts on the laptop screen. The cable appears well made and the plugs fit snugly. There was no problem with either the video or audio signals. It takes a few days to relax the coils that formed in the cable from being packaged for awhile. I like the white color - easier to see when draped across the floor. Mine is a temporary setup so I'm not installing it just yet. Highly recommended.

LIVID. The installation software corrupted all my mouse and keyboard drivers, rendering them useless. Will not allow me to install new mouse hardware. The touch-screen still works, but this effectively made my laptop into a tablet. Luckily I had just bought a new computer, and tried it on the old computer first.

I used this for a project for a family member where I connected their satellite receiver in their living room to a tv on their patio. 25 feet was just enough. I had no trouble routing this cable through the wall or discreetly around their white molding.The picture quality was good. Perfect 1080i HD. Don't let companies like "Monster" fool you. You don't need a $200 HDMI cable to show better picture. I would recommend if you need a, HDMI cable 25' long in white.

this is by far the best cable, incredibly that a $10 hdmi cable outperforms 5-10times more expensive cables.This is the first cable that is not giving me issues with signal loss and sparkling specs on the screen,I'm using it to connect my Epson 5020UB projector and it finally works great!build quality is also great and it gives an impression of high quality product.Im ordering more of these in various lenghts
