This tool easily gripped each nail and provided excellent leverage; I could pound the tool into place with only 3 hits from a hammer and in most cases pull the nail free with only the tool itself. (In other cases, I loosened the nail with the tool and pulled it free the rest of the way with the back end of my hammer.) I was able to increase my speed and remove 3 to 4 nails a minute, blazing past my previous pace, and even started to enjoy the work. This tool isn't designed for more delicate projects, and I'll keep using my 8-inch Stanley pry bar for that. But if it definitely helped me out with my demolition duties. I was reminded of how the cast of "This Old House" always says the right tool can make a job much easier.
