I dont see product description showing this?** A: Plastic **Q: Is this bottle for babies as young as two months? We have the 80 ml special needs haberman feeder and are now trying to find a larger bottle.** A: According to the specifications it can be used for newborns also. I think it depends on the baby. My 11 week old isn't taking to it.. though that may be because she's only been breastfed until now. **Q: Is this bottle BPA free?** A: Yes it is! **Q: will the suckle feeder nipple work on a standard bottle?** A: I'm not sure what is considered standard. But these bottles have larger necks and nipples than the other medela bottles I have. It causes no nipple confusion and makes for smooth transition back and forth :):):)It's a little large, the green internal (filter?) piece can fall in (rare), and I'm not sure about the quality of the plastic, but these are all minor things compared to the success we've had with this bottle. The one actually important feature that needs revision is the design of how much milk gets into the nipple at a time.The bottle is designed so that you press a button on the nipple part so that the milk fills the nipple and then blocks the rest of the milk in the bottle so that you can then feed your babe without the pressure of all that milk remaining in the bottle, therefore controlling the flow to continue to be reasonably slow(er). However, the deficiency is that after you fill (using the button) and empty (upon feeding) the nipple the first time, the rest of the milk just continues to flow. Also, not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things!!!Also, the above note is not a huge deal because you can still decide on flow pace depending on how you rotate the bottle, with two flow settings with the nipple.I still pace my babe while feeding her.We tried other bottles such as Comotomo but this is a bottle that truly uses the suckle reflex instead of the suck!
