Amazing book but errors by printer meant pages missing or repeated
Bought the Rupa paperback editionSome pages repeated in the printing resulting in loss of part of the story. Pages 26-31

Outstanding
Sheekar in India in the middle of the former century.K.Anderson is quite as much a great hunter and writer as the famous Jim Corbett.Great hunting adventures in a richer past that is nowadays lost for ever, and all the more valuable are those storys that keep them alive in mind.

Very gripping and absorbing
I felt as if I was beside him during the gripping adventures, very tense and nerve wracking and read it till the early hours of the next morning.

Thrilling, gripping and sometimes heart-warming
This is a great book for people who love to read hunting stories. Kenneth Anderson was a very famous hunter of scottish descent and lived in moder day Karnataka.
