I keep this in my pack at all times as part of my 10 essentials. It's small and lightweight. This weekend it started to rain and someone didn't have a rain fly for their tent. This made a fast emergency cover to keep them and their gear dry. It worked great. Afterward we were able to fold it back up and stick it back in the travel bag. I will be holding on to this for a long time.ALWAYS TAKE YOUR EMERGENCY SUPPLIES WHEN OUT ON THE TRAIL.

This is one of those Oh sh__ products. You hope you never need it but it is nice to have in your BOB just in case. I did take it out and inspect it. Appears to be a quality product and I still have both arms and legs, so it's not that expensive. BUT when it comes to covering your butt when the chips are down, this will do it. I have read you can't get it back in the cool carry bag. Ihad no problem. Of course I served with Scouting for over 40 years so I have had to learn how to minimize my impact and footprint in the wild. That means make it smaller and pack it tight and light.Overall a great product from inspection but I haven't put it into use yet and hope I don't have to. I would recommend.it.I just thought of something. If you go on an outing and your buddy forgot his tent, you could lend him this to make a shelter..

I purchased this to include in backpacks that my church is distributing to homeless individuals.

Went on a camping trip a few weeks ago. Sounds normal, right? Well, I didn't get to the spot until dark, and when I went to grab my tent out of the car, guess what's not there? If you answered "tent", then you are correct. And guess what else? Yep, it started to rain. Luckily, I had my emergency tent with me and it did the job.Never hurts to have an extra shelter laying around :)

It folds up tiny and packs up perfectly for a small bug out bag.

Sergeant’s emergency tent can also be used as a ground cover or a blanket. It is a smart and very portable addition to carry in your car or backpack to protect you in an emergency. Excellent product.

This is just what’s needed in case of emergency, product just as described, don’t really know how durable yet but seems to be of good quality, I would recommend this whether for self or as a gift

I received it as promised. It is lightweight. But since it is for an emergency...I can't say if it is durable or not. I am afraid if I take it out of the bag it came in, I won't get it back in. I will have to go on the good reviews I have read about it.
