It'd be trying to repeat this each year although the benefits would be enormous! But one can read through them. Ignore the anti SSPX comments. I don't adhere to their complaints 100% but see valid points. FSSP provides same traditional approach but I digress. One the finer do it yourself modern spiritual exercises. I personally loved the book because it goes in-depth and gives some very detailed examples and requirements on how to become closer to Jesus through Mary. I love how St. Louis writes that "If Jesus came to us (being born) through Mary, should we not, then, go through Mary to get to Jesus?" This book is kind of old-school in verbage and has quite a few pages. If that's not your style, I suggest you look at the book 33 Days to Morning Glory by Micheal Gaitley.
