I read several reviews about this item and similar items. I went into this purchase with my eyes wide open and was only hoping for a mediocre result. I must say I am very happy with this product. I purchased to to bleed brake lines after replacement. I’ve done this several times in the past but only with the “two person” method. This was far easier. First you can use the canister to retain brake fluid as you set the calipers without getting brake fluid on the garage floor. After replacing the brakes and reinstalling the caliper the magic begins. Easy to use and with only a few pumps of the handle all the air is bleed from the system. I not changed all 4 brakes on one car in less than an hour, I’ve already replaced the front brakes on another vehicle. Could not be happier with the ease of use and the results. This is probably not the best item for a full time mechanic but, if you are a weekend warrior and use as needed this will do the job.

adapters dont fit well, leaks badly

This gauge is useful for several areas working on cars or anything for that matter where you need to draw a vaccuum. I regret I went a lifetime without getting one.

You'd think a brake bleeder would have hose or fittings that would seal on a brake bleeder screw. Nope. Hoses are hard as a rock and suck air around the fittings. I might be able to make it work if I buy some better hose.

Did not work well. The tips for the bleeder bolts didn't fit they were all to big and tried it with just the hose and it was still too loose. So still had to get help bleeding the brakes

The vacuum brake kit arrived within 24 hours and is as described. For the price this is a worthwhile addition to the workshop. I have used it once and it works well, maintaining its vacuum during the process. A happy customer.

worked well. Don't bother with the grommets that go over the bleed valve as they don't fit well. Just use the clear pipe supplied as this is a tighter fit. Also best to remove bleed valve, and put PTFE tape around the thread before bleeding, as this stops air being drawn through the thread which gives you a misleading result of air being removed.

Bought to bleed my brakes, awful to use and not effective at all.

This kit is excellent for bleeding your brakes on your vehicle. Great price too
