Just about what I expected
Bought this sprayer to spray bleach only. I have had several in the past and spraying bleach is a tricky thing. Bleach is somewhat hard on the tips and the tubes of this sprayer. It does not have any effect on the tank. I use it for a good three hour stretch. I have found that the best results come when you take all the bleach out of it and clean it out and put it back together. The tips and the hoses are the main culprits that need to have a lot of water run through them before you put it away. The tank works fine, and pressurizing it is fairly straight forward. I use bleach to pre treat driveways here in central florida before pressure cleaning them. I also use this on the roof of one of my commercial buildings. That roof is a painted metal covering and a lot of time if I get a thin layer of bleach on it, I do not have to pressure clean that at all. There are a couple of tips that give you a couple of spray patterns. Whoever thinks you need a thin stream as a spray pattern has never actually used one, it makes zero sense to me, maybe it will to you. I mostly use the fan pattern and nothing else. Its decent, a little more money but you get a extension. Keep in mind the spray tips are plastic, they could have went all in with brass tips and it would rock totally.

Hudson one gallon sprayer
This is not a perfect sprayer. Bought it to replace Craftsman that was15 years old. Instructions for assembly sketchy: there is a text list of parts and a diagram of each part, but the disgram does not name the part, only numbers it for ordering replacement. The video link describes a generic assembly but does help identify the parts. Although the nozzle is brass, the intake tube from the sprayer to the hose is a plastic pressfit that came aprart internally after one use, necessitating emptying, rinsing, and reassembly. The 'two for one' feature is an acccessory fitting that requires removing the brass nozzle and screwing a plastic replacement for fan spray. I could not make it work but dpm'e care because that feature is not important to me. The handle/pump fixture is quirky, requiring an extra motion fo unlocking and pumping that is not intuitive. It does the job but my old one was easier to use.

A great sprayer for deck staining.
I bought this sprayer to stain my new deck for the first time.It was easy to put together, but you will need to read the directions. I put it together and then found I had forgotten to install the straw type section that goes in the tank.It is best to practice just using water prior to the first usage to be sure you have the right nozzle in place and tightened correctly.I never used the plastic nozzles that came with this sprayer. They seemed hard to get attached to the wand. With the right pressure built up and the right nozzle settings this sprayer did a great job at distributing the stain. I originally thought I could just get by with using the sprayer for do the staining, but I ended up using a roller and staining glove as well. All in all a great sprayer.I do wish it had come with some additional brass nozzles instead of the plastic ones.

Good sprayer but . . .
Years ago I bought a Hudson extendable wand for Hudson sprayers. It didn't fit the other sprayer I had, so it went unused. I came across it and noticed that it is exactly what I need to reach across a 12 foot wide mound to apply Round-up to the back side. But when I got the 66191 it had fittings that did not go with my wand. I was able to track down the needed piece to use with this version of Hudson sprayer, and the project was successful. I really was disappointed to have to spend the extra time and money to get what I needed. Oh, well, at least I acted in time to get it. It has been discontinued and later on I might have messed out all together.

Handy sprayer
I bought this unit because it has a brass spray wand and not like the cheaper sprayers that are plastic. It is nice for small touch up spraying around valuable shrubs and plants. I would give it five stars except for the fact that the adjustable spray nozzle doesn't have a narrow stream capacity. It is fan-shaped. The doesn't work as well in tight areas but it is tolerable and can work OK if you are well aware of the fan spray pattern and take care to direct it to avoid hitting unwanted targets. For general purposes where real tight accuracy isn't required it is a fine sprayer. Just be aware of its limitations.

A step up from the cheap store models
It pumps easier. Holds pressure well. Provides a nice even mist. The only complaint is the trigger spins around and is not fixed. If you hold the wand the wrong way the trigger can pinch. The wands is all metal and has no plastic. Is easy to clean. Thick walled plastic tank, is for the most part unbreakable. We have been through several cheap $12 Walmart specials and this is defiantly a step up in both functionality and durability. Well worth the extra cost, if cared for properly (cleaned after each use) should last for many years.

Nice quality sprayer
This sprayer is awesome. I love that is has a brass spray tip. Put it together in less than 10 minutes, looked at the picture, not the instructions which seemed a little confusing to me.... used it today and love it. I like the way you can lock the tip open so you do not have to hold the trigger open if you have a big spray job.It seems to be better quality than the ones my husband gets at the supply houses. They don't seem to last past 3 uses. Maybe because they are not cleaned out properly? I cleaned this one well after use. Ran clean water thru it with the sprayer locked open at least 3 times. I hope this lasts for a few seasons. So far so good!

Blown Away
It is a very nice sprayer, easy to assemble, and easy to use. New ones have a nice handle that does not pinch and is easy to spray with. ONLY TROUBLE IS WHEN YOU PRESSURISE THE TANK the hose WILL blow off on the new sprayers and you can't very well spray if the hose doesn't stay on and you don't have any pressure. I had an older model of the same sprayer which worked great and the hose never fell of because it had a metal clip at both ends that was squeezed on so the hose would not fall off. I can't believe Hudson can't afford to put a petal clip to hold the sprayer together. Then they would have a great sprayer maybe.
