I bought this belt for a different purpose than it was intended. I use the belt to relieve pressure on my hips from a tool belt that I wear at work all day. Previously I was left with bruising on my hips from the constant pressure of my tool belt. I wear this belt under my pants and it works well for my purpose. The 2 patches of silicone strips on either side really do work well to keep the belt from slipping from activity. I am able to wear this belt all day without discomfort. Being neoprene it does retain some heat but I'm able to wear it comfortably in 80 degree weather. I removed the outer adjustment straps as I just didn't need them but during testing they did add to the support that the belt provides. The belt is well made and so far has held up to daily use with no signs of wear. The price is reasonable and on par with similar belts. This belt is approximately 4" in width though the pictures make it appear larger. Even though I don't suffer from the ailments that this belt was designed for, I can see how it would help for those that do. I would recommend this belt.

Only reason I did t give it 5 stars was I was hoping to find a belt in non-black since I may have a skin reaction to color dye even if it’s not latex material. I’m going to ask seller for possible other natural materials this may be available in. So far it does the trick and is made well.

I tried to use this as a way to avoid medical care. It didn't work. It's a decent quality product for the money and there's nothing wrong with it per se. I had hoped the extra support it offered would have helped more. I'm keeping the belt for the future, because I believe at some point in my healing journey, it will be helpful.

I’ve been having some pain in my hip, and I used this belt for just that. I bought this to stabilize my pelcis a little more so I wouldn’t use my hip that is causing me pain. Great customer service!

Even though sciatic pain is primarily from the lower back, this hip belt really did the trick (I have a lower back belt, but it wasn’t doing enough for the pain). This belt was able to dull the pain enough for me to walk around and focus at the task at hand. Plus the double strapping method makes it easy to adjust the belt without having to take it off and putting it back on. It’s a quality hip belt!

A bit flimsier than what I previously had but does the jo . Am certain it will not last as long as the other but maybe by then I will have an alternate solution.

Soft and comfortable to be worn on lower hip area.I think it could be a little tighter fit and wider.

Works okay used as temporary SI belt until new one was being ordered at VA
