Koala Koffee Bamboo French Press Cafetiere with Measuring Spoon and Bag Clip 0.35l 350ml

The product looks great, and feels great with the wooden handle etc.However ths practical design is terrible. There is no "top vent" which means that the coffee does not pour, it just sort of dribbles out. Really infuriating, and such an obvious design flaw you have to wonder how it ever got to the manufacturing stage. What were they thinking?! Every other cafetiere I have ever owned or used has the "top vent" to ensure correcting pouring. It's essentially like having a jug without a pouring lip....completely useless.

I bought this to replace a cafetière that dribbled everywhere when pouring. This one has the opposite problem! There's no vent thingy at the front, it's sealed all the way round, so when you pour the coffee it takes forever to come out. I'd rather have this problem than the other way round, but still not ideal.

Great press for the price - had a few comments on the aesthetic of the bamboo which is why I picked it. Simple to clean and comes with multiple replacement filter meshes. The glass is tough but the metal frame is easily bent out of shape without the beaker.

This was a xmas gift for my Dad and so has had very little use. He made coffee in it yesterday and it wouldn't pour out of the tiny spout at a rate faster than a small dribble, so he gently pulled up the lid slightly and the whole thing exploded. The glass broke into pieces and hot coffee went everywhere.

Too small to be practical unless it really is for one person for one cup. My mistake though, didn't check the specifications. Pretty solid construction and feels well made.

As others have said, this is an aweful product to use. The design is such that it pours very very slowly, totally unlike any other cafetiere I have used. Terrible design.

Very good french press. No plastic which is great. 3 extra filters are brilliant. I use two at the time and there is no contamination. The press is very tight and strong.

Everything came separately packaged so nothing got scratched or damaged and the wood against the chrome looks great
