wellzher 2012 Lite Stand Golf Bag

For the price, this is one of the best golf bags on the market. Other bags with fewer features sell for well over $100 due to the big brand names. This bag has pretty much every feature you could want with only a few small oversights. The most convenient features are the drink holder and the glove pocket. In addition, there is room for course notebooks, scorecards, pencils, golf balls, all the usual equipment. The stand is reliable and the bag is comfortable on the shoulders. It is even padded against your back which is very nice when you are doing a full 18.For as amazing as this bag is there are a few design choices to be aware of. The cell phone pocket in the backpack compartment cannot fit my Google Galaxy Nexus with its case on. This phone is fairly small by modern standards so your large screened smartphone may not fit at all, however you have many other pockets to choose from including a microfiber lined pocket that will not scratch your glasses or phone. The other design choice is the insulated water bottle pouch. The pouch is easy to access which is nice but it does little to keep drinks cold. This is due to the open top design. Having insulation only helps if over half of the water bottle isn't exposed to the sun and heat. The last issue is that the clubs aren't separated into their own tubes but into 4 separate compartments.With only a couple of design choices leaving me wanting something slightly different, this bag is AMAZING for the price. Easily does the job of a bag twice the price.

A very light wieght and easy bag with many compartments that help a golfer who is not over serious with the equipment of golf but love to play the game

On the plus side, I do like the capacity of this bag. It holds all my clubs nicely, has a nice set of pockets to use... not too big, not too small. And it is very light and comfortable. But, and this is in 45 years of golfing over which this is my 3rd light carry golf bag with an automatic stand, while it was sitting on my garage floor, the legs just did a slow motion sprawl and it collapsed! I set it back up and watched it do the same thing (takes about a minute or a bit more for the entire process). I've never seen that before--ever! To Wellzher's credit, they offered to replace the bag with one that has been specifically checked to work properly... but I'm not sure they'd do that right. I think that part of the reason it collapses is because the floor is a very smooth one. The friction out on the grass is such that the base of the legs just could not slide away... so it would stand up properly there. The problem would arise when setting up the golf bag outside the clubhouse on a sidewalk, etc. Of course, they had no idea what was wrong so I also feel that in a few months of use the entire stand attachment might just decide to break off.Wellzher gave me no other offer on, for example, a more expensive bag... and I gave them the opportunity to do so on the phone as we discussed the various standing bags that they manufacture. So I'm sending it back and I'm out $14.59 for UPS shipping. I actually do have a video of the bag collapsing (it's amazingly funny) but I'm only posting this written review and, bottom line, I do *not* recommend this bag. Put out the bucks for a nice bag ($90 to $130 or so) and you'll be happier.

Purchased for my 14 year old son. This arrived several days sooner than expected. It was wrapped in plastic and shipped in a thick box for protection. The bag is lightweight with lots of pockets for storage. The backpack-like carrying system is awesome and makes walking with the bag much easier. My son also likes the fold-out legs that are sturdy but easy to get in and out. It was definitely a good purchase at a great price. Oh, and it holds all of his clubs if he wants to take them all.

First impression is that this is a much better item ten I expected to receive for the price. Durabability will obviously have to be determined at a later date. The shiny cold drink pouch looks like a bit much (might even blind someone with the reflection on a bright day) but overall seems like a really good deal.

The bag keeps the clubs separated nicely, comes with a rain cover and weighs very little. It stands upright on level surfaces and the bipod activates smoothly.

a little tight for 14 clubs but they do fit if you want em to. the dividers make it so the clubs dont get all wedged in the bagI like the pockets you can tell they put some thought into where every thing goes.you can reach everything you need while walking(score card, drink, pencil, an even the divot tool) with this thing is on your back

Thought I'd try this out for a simple golf bag and its great! Fit all my clubs, glove, tees and balls- even has extra pockets for whatever else when golfing. Best yet, is that you can't beat the price!
