It is what it says it is
An entire though-out opening repertoire? Nope.A detailed analysis of an opening by one of its devotees? Nope.(Though the author is also known for his Blackmar-Diemer work.)A "White to play and win" book? Nope.A "Black to play and win" book? Nope.(Adorjan makes for fun reading, but isn't the same as Weaver Adams or Emil Diemer.)A "I guarantee you'll beat your friends with this" book? Nope.A simple introduction to a set of openings to chess players who haven't studied books, videos/DVDs, and/or computer courses about the game? Yes.A useful sample of the author's body of work? Yes.Free? Yes.

Only for advanced players It was incomprehensible to a beginner.
I am a solid beginner. I can manage a game and sometimes win. I wanted to learn some of the technical plays. This was far too advanced for me.
