My puppy is uncoordinated and was afraid to go up and down my wood stairs. I finally broke down to find some treads and discovered these. They are clear which is nice because I am not a fan of carpet and honestly, I barely notice them on my stairs. I put them on in less than 10 minutes and I found them easy to install. I had to cut one to fit on my landing and was worried it would peel up in the corner which it hasn't. They have been on for a couple of weeks and seem to be staying on well. I have not tried to remove any so I can't state whether or not they are easy to remove. They do claim they are indoor/outdoor but I have not tried them outside yet either. I am happy with them and my puppy is definitely happy we have them now! I will update if there are any changes in them sticking and if I ever remove one.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. We have a lot of steps without carpet in our rented home and our two dogs had trouble going up and down without slipping. I was worried they would fall one day, so I got these. They are so easy to install and the roller is so helpful. I messed up the placement of one and when I peeled it back to fix it, there was no residue and the adhesive on the back still worked just fine after replacement. Now our pups have some fitting and we feel safer, too. Plus, we haven’t caused any damage to the stairs (let’s hear it for security deposits!).

Purchased after our husky injured her leg after slipping on our composite deck stairs outside. These strips were very easy to apply and are holding up to the rain well (so far). They may not be a permanent solution, but they seem to be providing enough traction to hopefully prevent any future issues.

These strips are great to install to provide safety without sacrificing the beauty of hardwood stairs. You won't be disappointed.

Works great, but doesn't stick real well to my wooden stairs. Helps our senior bulldog get up and down easier.
