Not too short to be useful and not long enough to be awkward. This is an excellent product and surprisingly inexpensive. The picture is of my use for the toggle clamps; a project board to hold paper and material in place while cutting details on a hardened glass chopping board. Being able to adjust the holding screws makes all the difference in how well this project works for various thicknesses. Different clamps can be loosed and lifted out of the way while working around different areas of the material.

Comes in several pieces and can be confusing to put together at first. Work well after assembly.

These were perfect, they arrived on time which was crucial as I was building templates for our home's baseboard ends and corners. These hold down clamps provided me the way to secure a piece of wood and process it on my router table without losing any fingers. The baseboard ends were a hit and made my project perfect.

I use these mainly for door (think roof access, poop chute, dumbwaiter door, under stairs access, etc) closures in the shop, dove loft and other utility areas where appearance is not an issue. They are durable, easy one hand operation, and hold the door securely closed with no rattle. They sometimes need a pad, or mounting block to make them work, but in generally I have found them to be a versatile, great product.

I wish these had a little more travel when clamping things down, right now you have to be within an eighth of an inch of the base in order to get anything sturdy to hold. Might try a different brand, but these ones are not what I was expecting.

Seems to be a good prod although I haven’t used it yet.

I use these with woodworking jigs and they work great. I wouldn't call them heavy duty but they are plenty strong enough to hold a board in place when using it with a jig for the table saw or router table.
