This spark plug socket worked perfectly on my '16 Toyota Corolla. The magnet held the spark plugs well and made the job easy. Great price, too!

Excellent for those back spark plugs on a V6. The magnetic grip is strong and holds the plugs well for insertion and removal. In my case I had to attach a swivel and another extension to get all the way back there. The 6" length worked well for my 2013 Highlander, just a bit below the top of the spark plug well. Yes it is 5/8" but works for a 16 mm.

I just used this to change the spark plugs in a 2019 2.7L Ecoboost in my Ford F-150. This Lexivon 5/8" Swivel Magnetic Spark Plug socket performed flawlessly. The magnet held the plugs perfectly ( on removal & install ). This socket made a difficult, to say the least, job feasible. Envision lying on the engine to reach plugs 3 & 6 while disconnecting multiple electrical connectors and vacuum tubes just to access the coil on plugs - Ford, you can do better with the design!! But, back to the review, this socket is well engineered & well made and is worth it even if you only use it once. A great tool.

Pretty nifty tool. The magnet is strong enough to elevate spark plugs. I also appreciated the swivel functionality, especially when trying to reach spark plugs all the way in the back of my Toyota Camry V6.

This made the job so easy. I replaced all spark plugs in less than 30 minutes

I expected a rubber insert to hold the plug in place. To my surprise, it is magnetic, which is great, as rubber dries out and invariably starts to slip out of the socket after a few years. Shouldn't be a problem with this design. I own quit a bit of tools, as I was a diesel wrench. Fit and finish is as good as any of the premium tools I own. This is a thin wall design to get into tight spaces. The flex point has a nice firm spring in it to keep it in place when selecting an angle to insert the tool. While I would normally look for US made tools, that market is all but dead. The next best manufacturer IMO is Taiwan, which is where this is made. I own a few China made plug sockets from that Hbr Frt Tls joint, they are all crap. How do you make a socket where the very first plug going into it pulls the rubber insert out? Useless, returned, got another, same thing, just crap. I plan on using the tool this weekend, I will update this review if there is any reason to stay away from it....till then I strongly suspect that this was a great purchase/value.

Swapped out my 5 year old factory NGK plugs after noticing juddering while accelerating. This tool made it a 5 minute job on my driveway, as opposed to a pricey trip to the garage. Perfect for the job. Juddering gone, and noticeable power increase after putting in brand new Bosch plugs. Very pleased. Recommended to the product to my dad also.
