Nice chair, but the customer support truly earns it the 5 stars.
We have used this chair every day for five months now. It fits over the toilet, which some chairs are not able to do.. We also use it in the shower. The fact that there is no support bar in the front of the seat makes it easier to get your hand down to wipe and, trust me, this is important!p.s. Their customer support is beyond excellent. They respond quickly and handle things smoothly.

Look for another chair
This chair initially seemed like just the thing. However, one of the metal arms is not fully secured by the locking mechanism and has given way several times as the user attempted to seat herself (and the push button mechanism CANNOT be seated to properly secure the arm). The seat pops up in the back if weight is placed on the front of the seat. One caster is loose and cannot be tightened. Very, very disappointed with this product -- it is not as safe as it appears.

Nice chair, but be careful with the wheel locks.
Nice chair, lightweight, and fairly well constructed. Short one star because of the "wheel locks" that are difficult to use and somewhat fragile. Already one has come off, with no apparent way to put it back in. As a shower chair, it's been very useful for getting in and out of the shower.

This is a nice chair, arrived on time and went together easily
This is a nice chair, arrived on time and went together easily. However, I had purchased it as a shower chair for my daughter who is 4"11'.In order to sit down on the chair, she sat on the edge and tried to scoot backwards. When she puts weight on the front edge, the back of the seat flips up and she almost fell. This happened twice before we gave up. The seat definitely needs to be more securely fastened to the frame.

User Difficulties
My wife is in "mid-severe" stage of Alzheimer's and has very little mobility. Since she is only about 5.3, her feet are several inches off the ground and it makes it difficult to attempt to stand her up in shower. The problem also persists when transferring her to wheel chair or bed. If there was someway to adjust the height on chair it would make this chore of bathing a lot easier. Everything else about chair and it's use is great and it will enable me to keep her at home at this time instead of a memory care facility.

We have a narrow bathroom door and it fits through there perfectly in transferring my mother from bedroom to bathroom. This is working very well for our situation.

Convenient seat for immobile elderly
The drop arm of this chair tucks out of the way to make it easier to transfer to and back from a chair. The seat is comfortable with a 2 inch pad over the commode hole as the hole avoids the coccyx. The seat can be used in a small bathroom to move over the commode if not wanting to use the under-seat bucket. The swivel wheels allow movement in any direction. The locks on the wheels can be locked and unlocked with the foot after some practice.
