Perfect chicken run. Easy to combine 2 into 1 big pen
I love this chicken run. It’s portable, has a roof to keep the feed dry, and is easy to put together. I assembled it in 10 minutes. I like that there is a smaller door set into the big door, so I can feed the birds without them running out into the yard. Each panel is 35 inches wide x 43 inches high, with an added foot or so of roof space. The area of the hexagonal pen is 21.85 square feet. This is enough space for about 2 hens or 3 or 4 bantams. It’s super easy to combine two pens into one big run. The easiest way to do this would be to assemble the two pens separately without attaching the panels with the doors in them. Then you can attach each door panel to the other pen, leaving you two roofed hexagons connected by an uncovered area with a door on each side. I wanted something more customized, so I popped the washers off the hinges with a pair or pliers and totally rearranged that configuration. I put one of the door panels upside down so that my chickens could walk through the mini door. I put screen over the connecting unroofed area to keep them safe from hawks. The area of the two pens with the connecting space is 52.11 square feet. This is enough space for 4 or 5 hens or 9ish bantams. The only thing I would change about this coop is that I would prefer a sturdier roof canopy and I wish the washers on the hinges were easier to get on and off.Update: The canopies both gave out after 13/15 months. It is very difficult to get a replacement. I had to email the company directly.

So many uses
I bought this 2.5 years ago to use for crate training my dog. She was 80 lbs and 6 months old at the time. Since then we’ve used it outdoors when camping and inside other people’s homes when we take her with us for overnight trips. We’ve used it as a “gate” at one of our friend’s houses who has a fence missing a gate, we just attach it with bungee cords so our dog can run around. We’ve used it when watching an infant, to keep our dog away from the baby while training her how she should act. And we’re currently using it as a duck habitat until their outdoor enclosure is complete. This kennel has become a staple item in our home and I highly recommend it to anyone considering. It is SUPER easy to put together and to take apart. After 2.5 years every piece still seems like new (with the exception of the canopy which has held up to a 130 lb dog quite amazingly but does have some small rips in it).We bought a carrying bag with ours and it makes transporting the kennel a breeze.

Dogs home when I am not home
I love this cage and it is definitely worth the price. I am so sick of my dogs pottying in the house when I am not home so I broke down and bought this cage. it is very easy to put together, very good price, Have a Great Pyrenees and Shepherd Husky mix in this cage daily. I do also have a leashe on the husky mix just in case he was to get out, but has not been able to yet. My husky uses his nails to open the top of the cage and then can jump out if he wants to, but he has his buddy so has not tried getting out. I am very pleased with this cage I love the umbrella top to keep dogs from being poured on or keep sun from beaming down on them. I did buy a lock just to be safe because my dogs are in the country and I do not want anyone opening the cage and stealing them. I love this cage I would buy again I would encourage people to buy as well. I put two beds in the cage for them outdoor beds

Pretty sturdy play yard.
My dog is an escape artist and considers it a challenge to get any door within his height level open. If he can’t open it, he uses his head topush on the door until something pops loose. Amazing but frustrating. He immediately realized that hecouldn’t open the crate due to the type of latch and hinges. He did slightly bend one bar but then we “beefed up the door” by placinginside the door a long 6 inch high metal piece that is the width of the front of the crate. He seems to see itas impenetrable and has stopped working the door! This is easy to move for cleaning.Very sturdy at the hinges. I like that all I have to do to ensure the door says locked is to add a smallcarabiner through the hole of the latch. If I could design this, I would use a higher thickness on the steel mesh so that it is less likely to bend under pressure. My 27 lb dog is at least safe in thisyard. He has destroyed 4 prior crates by breaking the door hinges, opening the latch, and popping bars off by pushing them with his head. We have used this for more than a month and other than adding the interior piece as a visual block to door access, it works well.It is funny because he has never tried to flip it or jump out, though when pushing the door the crate did move a few inches. I would buy this again

Makes a great pen for chickens and ducks!
I love this product! I have used other brands of similar pens but this one is my far my favorite. It is well made and sturdy. Heavy! It will not blow over in the wind for sure. I did no use the feet that it came with because i set mine up on grass and didn't want a gap between the bottom and the ground. It comes with all the panels joined together, so you just have to make it into a circle and connect them. Then you flip over the roof supports and fit them into an ingenious plastic knob. Tie on the awning with bungies and youre good to go. Im not very strong and I put it together easily in 20 minutes. There is an easy to follow instruction sheet. I will be buying more of these. Attention Manufacturer: Please make a 24"x24'x24' foldable configurable tunnel for protecting chickens and ducks as they make their way from one area to another. I would have a lot of fun making this pen into a series of pens and tunnels!!
