Total Saddle Fit - Synthetic Shoulder Relief Cinch - Western

My old cinch was getting kind of frayed so I was looking to replace it. I really didn't feel like my horse had any problem with the old one, he's not hard to fit and no issues. We do not show or anything, we just ride trails, he's a little mustang horse and built nice with a good shoulder and proportions.I just stumbled across this cinch and the design made sense to me just looking at it. My biggest hangup was the price only because if for some reason this cinch did not agree with him then that was a lot of money. Even though it comes with a money back, I was still hesitant. Then they came out with the synthetic cinch and that put it in line with the neoprene cinches I was looking at anyway so I tried it. I am SO glad I did!The first time I used it I just walked him down the trail and nothing seemed different until about 30 feet down the lane and then he kicked into the nicest, fastest walk! I could feel him reaching under himself with his hind legs much more than he ever has. Since then, I notice a longer, smoother stride every time at any gait. So, even though he showed no outward signs of discomfort, this cinch has obviously increased his level of comfort!All I can say is if you are on the fence about trying it, just do it! This is a great product and I'm betting it will make the traditional cinch obsolete once people see the difference it makes. I can't find any reason not to like it.If I have one suggestion it would be that they need to offer it in some shorter lengths. The smallest one, 28'' barely fits my 14.2 mustang. I would think that endurance riders (lots Arabs and smaller horses there) would LOVE this cinch and ponies and little guys deserve to have this available too.On behalf of my horse, thank you!

I ordered this cinch for my barrel racing saddle. I ordered the synthetic, since it was the more budget-friendly versionPros: I do feel like it made a difference in the quality of my horse's movement. The quality of the cinch was up to par with what I would have expected and there were no manufacturing imperfections.Cons: I felt like the cinch was too narrow for my taste. After reading some other reviews, I see i'm not the only one who felt that way(photo included to compare to my Airflex cinch). I was advised by other to go down some on the size, (I went to a 28" from a 32") and I definitely should have stuck with the 32".I liked it enough to go ahead and order the non-synthetic version with the felt liner but I will be returning this one. For trail riding or other applications, this cinch would probably be perfect but I ride 5-6 days per week to keep my horses in shape and I didn't feel like the synthetic version would have held up to that.

This was the best deal I could find on a Total Saddle Fit cinch. I wanted to buy the lower priced one first to see how I liked it. I LOVE it! I was riding in a Smart Cinch before, so I included a photo of them side by side to show how bulky the TSF makes the Smart Cinch look. You can feel the difference on your leg when riding as well.My mare felt to be moving more freely under saddle. I purchased this due to her having some shoulder soreness after consecutive days of riding, and since I bought the cinch that has been corrected.

I love it but it went to the other address that the first one was supposed to go to..I just got it last week..lol..but I do love it

My daughter loves it, her horse loves it, and her saddle hasn't slipped or fallen off (and she barrel races). 'Nuf said.

I bought this for my barrel horse. I followed the sizing guidelines. I even contacted customer service to make sure I had it placed correctly. i bought a size 30. Normally I use CE or Airflex in the size 32. I put this very narrow girth on my saddle and rode in it for 10 minutes. In that short time, my saddle slid back (It has not been sliding back), the metal rings were touching his hide not resting on the padding and he galled. I guess I can say I gave it a try but I was disappointed in fit and function.

Mare is built like a yoga ball hard to get a saddle cinched down- This was the answer! She was cinchy horse and this resolved that problem. This cinch is a must have for every horse owner!!!

This is s great cinch. Thank you for making it affordable for students. I take lessons on 14.2, 26yr old mare, and this makes tacking up and riding more fun for BOTH of us!
