My new amp.
Received amp today. Well packaged! Will not turn on as amp has been outside in the cold. The amp is well made.What I liked so far is that they packaged white cotton gloves to install the tubes (valves). Will review the most important part when the amp is a room temp and the tubes are burned in. 02/11/19. I have burned in the tubes. The sound is open and the soundstage with great depth. Very little noise. This a great amp. My speakers are Chartwell LS 3/5A BBC Monitors that are 16 ohms. Reasonable SPL. This is a bargain. You can’t go wrong. Remember this is a Class A amp and output wattage is limited. After 3 months of listening I can honestly say this is a great amp and a damn good value. In fact I plan on purchasing another in the fall. Just remember that this is a tube amp with limited wattage output otherwise absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic at the price point, but benefits from some upgrades
This amp is higher quality than I expected at the price point out of the box. That being said, the tubes are trash. But I can't really fault it for that at the price point. I replaced the el34's with genalex gold lion kt77's, the 12ax7 with a genalex gold lion, and the 6n1's with some Russian 6n1p's and the soundstage opened dramatically. The bass came in as el34 tubes don't really produce bass. I run a mogami rca cable and Sennheiser hd 650's. The cable and tubes together come out to another $200 and they're necessary to get this amp's full potential. But you save that money over equivalent tube amps and end up with a higher quality end product.

Looks like a nice amp
I was anxious to hear this nice amp. But came in damaged. I chose not to replace.The amp was substantial and had a nice fit and finish

Great Tube Sound! Excellent Value
Point to Point wiring and quality components for the money. Build quality is great and sound is even better. Headphone port works great and didn't have any excessive noise that I noticed. The Speaker outputs allow you to hook it up to some efficient speakers. Any of the recent Klipsch speakers and Hsu speakers or high sensitivity speaker would work great.For an introduction to tube audio or as an add on piece to a collection to give you more versatility I dont think you can do much better.

Nice amp for the money!
I've gone full retro now! Vinyl -> tube preamp (separate, you need one for phono) -> this amp -> Klipsch R-26F speakers. Sounds great. Has plenty of volume for listening in your home. But obviously won't be able to shake your walls or anything with this little amp.

Very well built really sounds great if you are wanting to get into tube amp this is the one to use for the price it has some power and sounds great.you will hear stuff you have never heard before.
