Item seems fresh, easy to take, and generally effective
I gave it five stars because I am not experiencing any problem with this product. It is nicely packaged, easy to take, and I have not experienced burping that causes the residual taste of cod liver oil to come up in your mouth. Because of this, I believe the product is fresh and I like that. Taking cod liver oil was part of my childhood regimen, and was endorsed by my father, for general good health. I don't know if that is actually true, but I do feel better.

With solgar you're dealing with a top rated company, so although I can't say I've noticed any difference in health, I continue taking them because I know cod live oil is beneficial, and I believe in Solgar's reputation.
