The wells are deep and slanted. Nice design. Only problem I have with the one I purchased is it isnt air tight like it says without sitting something on top of it

Even after soaking it in hot water and dawn dish soap I was unable to clean the paint off the plastic. Its easier to clean old paint off those cheap round plastic palettes than this.It was nice, compact, easy to carry during use. But I will probably have to toss it out now. Honestly was a waste of money for me personally.

I love the extra pull out tray and the number of wells on the lid for paint mixing. It works great for watercolor but I decided to try mixing my acrylics with it and boy was that a mistake. I've tried every dried acrylic paint remover trick in the book and some paint refuses to budge. I've just accepted it and now mix similar colors in the same spot and hope not too much old paint comes off to muddy my colors. There's not even paint to scrape off, it seems like the plastic is just stained. When I received the palette it also seems like some sections of the blue was sprayed onto the sections that were meant to be white, but not a huge deal breaker. Closing snap seems secure.

This palette is just the right size and has plenty of paint wells that are large enough and have a good slant. I used it for watercolor and the paint washed off easily right after using. I haven't had it long enough to judge whether or not it keeps the paint wet, however I put it in a large plastic zip bag for another layer of protection. Overall, I would recomment this to a friend.

I like this palette. I use it almost completely in studio, so i can't for sure say how well it would be in travel. But some things of concern i noted was the latch doesnt hold firmly and the paint does NOT stay moist. I fixed the latching issue by using binder clips, but the reason i bought this was to try and keep my paint's condition similar to that of fresh out of the tube.My paints being gouache means i can reactivate them well enough, but i wouldnt really trust acrylics to stay wet in this.Some paint naturally dries so i expected that, but with the exception of two paints (indigo W&N and cobalt turq. Light W&N), all are dried out and have to sit with water for a bit before use.I like there is a tray to lift out and use. This makes for easy cleaning and plenty of mixing spaces. The plastic stains but i dont care.TLDR: My only major gripes are the latch problem and paints not staying moist (advertised as airtight but isnt). Overall 4/5

This pallet is perfect for me. The wells are enough to hold a half pan of paint and have a nice 'ramp' towards the mixing pans. Some of the paints I use are honey based and the airtight lid keeps all the critters out. Love the removable mixing plate that fits inside the lid and the overall size is great, too!

I LOVE this palette so much! I had a higher end palette in my cart and decided to try this one out because of the affordable price. This is a great palette for how much it is, there are plenty of places to mix. I let my liquid water colors set before shutting the lid and now they are easily reactivated with some water and I can take the palette anywhere!

I love all of the compartments to put multiple colored paints. And a big enough size to mix all of it The removable piece makes it easier to just take out and wash or have it in your hand while painting instead of holding the entire thing. I used this with acrylic paint and it was a little tougher to get the dry paint out when washing it and left darkish stains. It doesn't really bother me since a paint pallets isn't really for display the art is. 5 stars
