Barnett Padded Compression Shorts FS-06 (Youth/Adult Sizes)

Bought the shorts for my HS point guard. While the material is good, the construction of the padding has some flaws. The individual Hex padding has a tendency to come loose within the pockets of the shorts. In our case the tailbone section mostly, but there are some spots in the thigh area as well. Overtime, more and more of the individual pads will become loose and dislodge themselves within the pockets and start bunching up (i.e. think marbles in a bag). There is no possible way to get the individual pads back into / stay place, so I was forced to cut the pocket open an remove all of the padding bits. I suspect that the rest of the padding will have the same issue shortly. Maybe it's just the pair that I have, but the shorts are less than a year old. Not sure I would purchase this again for these reasons.

My daughter was learning to snowboard and we wanted some padding to protect her tail bone. Its a well made product but it ran smaller than anticipated based on reading other reviews. You need to find the correct size in order for the paddings to line up correctly with your anatomy. Its a well made product with ample protection. However no matter how much padding my daughter still felt the impact when falling on ice patch. I reminded her it could be much worse without it.

Got these for my husband and son for dirt bike racing padding. They both love them. Padding is exceptional. haven't had any issues with them falling apart like some others mentioned. And they've been washed numerous times on sanitizing wash. They would tell you don't hesitate, buy them.

Thanks for the quick delivery, i.e. before the due date, which came the day I needed it for my class. The fit was great with the included cup pocket. I can't mention further details until later with more contact. I'll let you know later if it does the job or not.

The second pair of these shorts broke apart after a washing in our washing machine. Not sure what happened but I can't return it and probably will buy elsewhere. Maybe quality was reduced to make a profit. I had high hopes for these shorts.

Bought these for the grandson. They fit great and he really likes them because of the additional padding and the support of his thighs. I would buy these again and recommend them to friends and family.

Son wears them for lacrosse and football. He says they fit well and he does not feel they interfere with movement. After a very rough LAX game he really appreciated them. I think most of his team is getting them

Perfect fit . Holds sons junk securely.
