Does not calculate KEYTONES - it's a basic sugar meter
My bf and I are doing keto. He is diabetic so he already has a glucose monitor - I bought this THINKING it would indicate blood keytone levels - it does not. If you want a glucose monitor this works fine and has a nice case but I was disappointed - I need to take my time and read more thoroughly and stop going by product headlines. I do not believe I was mislead by accident, I am sure with the current "Keto-craze", they sell a lot more of these than they would otherwise.

Accuracy way off at times with mine.
I had done a lot of research prior to purchasing this product. Sadly I had to return it. In general it was easy to use however I did not realize that it would take about two minutes of warming up each time prior to being able to use and I did not always feel like I had this amount of time. I also became concerned when some times my numbers seemed accurate for the keto/food I had eaten and other times the dial would spin all the way around a couple of times and give a crazy high number. I read all directions several times and watched YouTube clips as well to make sure I had a consistent technique.- maybe I got a fluke bad one but after this experience I did not feel like I would trust the next one.

A great way to check your ketones
Works great, I had zero issues with connecting it to my phone. It definitely takes some time to warm up but I personally didn't too much of a problem. It's definitely not the cheapest but it's accurate and it's definitely better than pricking your finger over and over. I wish the software was a little more user friendly, it seems to be outdated and could use a makeover.

Frustrating overall
Mine did not seem like it was accurate. The readings fluctuated way too much. I would fast for 36 hours and it wouldn’t even read that I was in Ketosis. But other times it would read high then the next day read lower and never as high again.

Works great, app could use work
Works as advertised. Takes a while to ready up but it’s not a big deal. App isn’t the sexiest but it works.

Not working as promised
Unfortunately, Ketonix app cannot find the device on Android phone.

Accurate and helpful
A very nice instrument, a little cumbersome to use, but it is accurate and helpful.
