Better than the cheap plastic hats you get at parties, the plastic is thicker, and it has a nice shield on the front. It has an adjustible strap inside the helmet to fit to your kids head, giving it a much nicer look. Being able to customize it with a name/department is really fantastic as well.

I am a firefighter. I purchased this helmet for a grandchild who loves fire trucks. Yes it is designed for younger kids, so it is smaller to fit them. It is made of plastic that is thicker than the fire prevention day stuff we used to give away. Not quite "hard hat" worthy, but thicker and more durable than Halloween props. The suspension on the inside is light weight, but should work well if not abused.I was most impressed with the looks of the helmet. It does look like a scaled down version of what I wear at work. It really is as authentic looking as you could get for a kids toy. With the name on the back, it does look a lot like mine.

I purchased this to use as a costume for my 3 year old. We absolutely love it! The hat is realistic looking, and isn’t made out of the flimsy plastic material you usually get at a store. We had the name personalized on the back which was an awesome added touch. The hat is adjustable, which is great because it’s too big without it being adjusted, and great because my son will be able to play with it for a while. Love it!!

100% yes. Recommend to all our friends with kiddos that like to live that Fire life. Super sturdy- our 3 year old thrashes around often while he is “fighting fires” and it has held up great! The name on the brim makes it 10x cooler, and feels so authentic. Lots of fire guys live in our community and they always compliment on his gear. Will buy again if we need to, or for a gift. Love this!

Made out of a strong plastic, very good quality for the price. Looks just like an actual fireman helmet and not to mention child loves things with their own name on it! Not a long wait for product to arrive.

This was a huge hit! I bought one for my three year old and one for my five year old. Both were personalized and looked amazing. So many compliments! My boys have larger heads and can struggle with most child sized hats. These stayed on no problem.
