Defective solution!
Warning!! This standard was off by .05! Solution tested at .021 instead of .026. Thank god we had other solutions to verify our readings. Could have killed a ton of corals fast!

update. LFS SG was off. not as bad as i thought.
tested with another solution as well. both are around 1.026.

Does what it needs to do
So I used this calibrate my refractometer for my reef tank. turn out i was a bit high and had to adjust the calibration screw to get the correct reading. 5 stars from me for ease of use and price.

It is off by a couple of points. The salinity of the fluid is supposed to be 1.0264 but it is way lower around 1.023. It is a waste of money.
