Excellent collection of essays about artists with shared aspirations but differing styles and media. Quality illustrations. The last section was a surprise, Whitney brothers and Harry Smith, didn’t know they were in here until the book arrived. The copy I received has the edges of the cover trimmed top and bottom, but the seller gave me a partial refund for that, otherwise this arrived in perfect shape.

Quality book. The images are amazing. Haven't read it yet but am sure it's all good - I got it mostly for the images as a reference. They are excellent.

Well before Kandinsky and un-informed on his treatise of abstraction, these three woman painters from London, Sweden and Switzerland all arrived at advanced abstract visual languages separate from the male-dominant canon of modernism. Get this re-write of history!

This book displays superb publication quality. I consider this to be one of the most major additions to new art history books of recent times as it documents "forgotten" women artists who are way ahead of their time. The brilliance of these artists comes to light in this book that honors their legacy and significance in art history.

No conocía a ninguna de las tres artistas de las que trata este libro. Fueron y son artistas fundamentales para el arte moderno y van más allá. Merecen que se difunda más su obra.

Excelente libro!! Como objeto es hermoso, el encuadernado, las impresiones y la calidad en general están muy bien, aparte de esto el contenido maravilloso y muy muy interesante, muy completo
