I purchased this item specifically and only to record one college class... The first day I used it I hit record, it said it was recording. When I got home I went to play it and it was gone. Not happy about that. I tried it again, and again it said it was recording counting the seconds, I hit stop when the class is over turn it off, then later when I got home it said recording was still there, but when I went to play it, it did not work out at all, there was no sound whatsoever. I am really bummed because this did cost over $20 plus tax because now it's just something in my junk drawer. I'd recommend spending a few more dollars and getting a better one personally. I have not tried the radio or the music because I have another device for that so I can't comment on that part, but the recorder on mine at least this not working at all unfortunately

I typically don't write reviews on Amazon, but I want to save you from purchasing this battery powered paper weight. I gave it 2 stars, rather than 1, because it DOES turn on. Other than that I am pretty disappointed. We bought this for my 9 year old girl. I'm a bit of a tech geek and am no stranger to mp3 players and am having real difficulty downloading music to this device. After I upload the files to the 'Music' folder they still do not appear on the mp3 player. Coupled with the fact that the interface is not intuitive (why?) I do not recommend this product.

Bought this for our 8 year old niece. Serves its purpose, but you need a micro sd reader in order to save songs to the sd card. Didn't realize this when I bought it. Would have been better to purchase an iPod shuffle for ease of downloading.

I like it just fine except for the instructions I could not figure them out so I asked for help from a friend and he had a hard time figuring it out.We still do not know how to copy songs from cd's or radio or from a computer. Also when I did copy some I cannot find it on this little machine.It just pops up once in awhile so I know I did get it copied. Also I do not know how to copy without erasing previous things.
