Company sent a board that appeared used
The board was an instant hit with my 2 and 3 year old. But I was disappointed when opening the package from the mail as it came with small nicks and gauges, a dent and even smudges as though it had been used before. There was a drip from the lacquer that had dried without being sanded as well. It is useful and fun, bit I am disappointed in the quality of the finish or whether the company had sent me a used board rather than a new one.

Amazing toy for physical therapy
This toy is ingenious. My 2 yo is loving it for creative play and is now calling it his fire station, but I bought it to help with his physical therapy exercises. He has a very complex club foot and is pigeon toed. We need to do a lot of calf stretches and strengthening exercises, so I was hoping he’d like standing on this and rocking side to side as that would engage all the right muscles. He doesn’t seem to have the balance for that yet, but when we turn it over it makes a great ramp to stretch his calf with.This price point is amazing. I was going to have my husband try to make one since we couldn’t find anything under $100. We found a DIY guide for these and it looked like a tedious, intense process with room for error. I’ve read a lot of reviews on Waldorf balance boards and many people complained about them having blemishes - which I would expect on any large handmade wooden item. There are a few small imperfections on the edges, but if you’re that anal about appearances you probably shouldn’t be having kids. It is functional, it’s fun, there were no toxic odors, and it arrived within 24 hours of being ordered. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Well made but with some damage
The over all design of the board is great . Feels sturdy and well made. Like another buyer mine arrived with several “knicks” and scratches on the wood which isn’t the biggest deal as I imagine more will happen in time. There was about a 1/2 inch piece of wood missing off one edge that left the unfinished wood exposed for potential splinters. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and a a plastic covering seems like this was more of a quality color miss than a damaged in shipping as there was no wood in either packaging. I have requested an exchange in hopes we receive a new one without damage.

Absolutely beautiful!
For my grandchildren 1, 3, and 7....plus older sisters 13 and 16. Well constructed and I know it will get used in many ways.

Damaged but Useable
The item arrived with a few scratches and dents on it and appeared as though it had previously been used. I will not be returning though as it is a birthday present for a one year old and I'm sure will develop plenty more scratches overtime. My one-year-old son seemed thrilled with it and immediately used it as a slide.

Exactly what was expected
The board was in great condition and my two boys love it. Can’t beat it for the price compared to other boards.
