This alarm clock has a really good display with three brightness levels. The radio has a good sound for its size.However it isn’t easy to use or programme and is difficult to set new times. It’s not particularly instinctive and is easy to not set the alarm properly so I have to use my phone as a back up. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s still awkward and takes a lot of time to set the alarms. The buttons are multifunction and you have to be in the right mode or you end up changing the wrongs thing.

This radio came without any instructions and we used to have family events trying to figure it out.Now we probably ain't the brightest sparks on the circuit but neither are we the dimmest, and even my grandson with a doctorate in electro mechanical prosthetic engineering couldn't programme it.Trying to contact the manufacturers is like trying to get an answer from St Peter, and there it sat for about three months. Then my now conceited wife stumbles on the secret programming formula and the clock now works and she ain't stopped bragging.Yes it works well now but if ever the wife leaves I will have to destroy the clock as I am still trying to unravel the secret.

Absolutely love this. It’s small and unobtrusive. I’m using it with batteries in which means the time is not lit up all of the time, but only when you press the button. Very useful at night. You can plug in to a usb/phone charger for direct current. The radio comes on gradually so you’re not woken by a sudden sound which I appreciate! The sound quality is surprisingly good from such a small and cheap device. You can set different alarms from different times and choose between the radio and an alarm sound, or both. You can also set a nap time. It’s not very easy to set up, but once you know what you’re doing it’s easier. It’s also simpler if it is plugged in with the usb connection. I am pleased with this.

This Clock/Radio is very well designed for function and it has a very neat appearance. The three level availability for brightness is very good and the separate on/off Radio function is neat and well located on the top of the Radio. The sound is good and the self tuning radio facility is easy to use and it picks up a remarkable number of stations, without distortion and without the need for any aerial (How do they do it?). Set up instruction are clear and effective. This must be one of the best Clock/Radios on the market and it is terrific value for money.

Very happy with the alarm clock. Have extra USB ports to charge phone etc. Very clear display, it runs off USB cable and didn't come with a plug for the cable but had a spare.The only thing that lets it down is wierdly is you can't snooze the radio if you want the radio to wake you up and you are not quite ready! You can snooze the alarm but it's not quite the same. There are two alarms so I have set them 10 mins apart and so far that has been ok.

I returned this product as it didn't meet my requirements. The sound quality was poor and if I remember correctly (it was a while ago) there was no aerial, so no options to improve reception. I needed a radio that was easy to drift off to sleep to, but given the minimum volume level (of the 15 available) was too loud and the set up for the sleep mode was not not the simplest, I decided to return it.

My cons are the alarm is not loud enough to wake me up and I haven’t figured out how to take the alarm off at the weekends when I don’t want it sounding.Pros... the light is adjustable and on the highest setting lightens the room if you don’t like a dark room. Numerals are large as are the buttons. You can charge 2 usb devices on it whilst you sleep.

I bought this mainly because I wanted to clearly see time in night and it is really great! Bit difficult to sort out settings and sound not great but for the price it is excellent
