Purchased this to replace a small hand-held Remington I had for over two decades. This device is huge (wasteful design), somewhat effective for removing well-formed pills but not general fuzz on sweaters. Does not completely recharge, and battery wears out within about 20 minutes of use.

1st Purchased 2/2019:Great rechargeable little gadget! Works great on most fabrics. Not good on heavy wool sweaters or very lightweight fabrics. It will snag but any brand will snag on lightweight fabrics.Good on: fleece sweaters, socks, pants, wool JACKETS, and quilted pillow covers. Good for about the first year.2nd update 1/2021: it lasts a good year, but after that i had to shake it to get it to work. Babied it for the 2nd year and it died. It does come with batteries-- even new Energizer batteries could not bring it back to life.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time. For the price, the built quality is pretty good! As always, I like to examine how a product works. A fur-ball shaver like this is actually quite simple! It’s basically a spinning blade that has a filter to it. It works well in removing the fur-balls. But don’t expect it to make your clothes look like new.One bonus thing about this is that it’s so satisfying to shave the fur-balls off from my sweater!

Make sure whatever you're removing pills from is laid on a flat surface. If it isn't...beware. This product will make holes in your clothes.

I bought this to use on my fabric sofa. It did the job pretty well, although I was cautious of the piping on corners. The first shaver I bought had larger holes and wasn’t as efficient. I have also used the shaver on a few sweaters as well. Just make sure you lay them flat.

I found this to be an excessive purchase and not really worth the effort.

This product works great. I used it on my favorite sweater. It did a great job removing the fuzz balls. I post the picture took very close to my sweater for before and after. The shaver looks good too. It is small and easy to clean. Will definitely recommend this product to friends and relatives.
