I was looking at the blue one, and just couldn't see spending that much money for it. I'm sure it's a fantastic tool and all. But I'm not a pro, and I just don't need it. (I do own some of the blue tools, for things that I'll use a lot or that weren't that much more expensive than the cheap ones.) This one fills the bill. It's solidly made and the moves smoothly without being excessively loose. The notches for the ratchet could maybe be a little bit more aggressive? But they work just fine as-is. This cable puller will do the job for a good price, and should last me for many many years. I'm very happy with it.
