Men's Genuine Leather Dress Ratchet Belt Automatic Sliding Buckle (Brown,Black)

This belt, and others priced at the low end of a wide price range are well made. I have purchased many ratchet belts for myself and as gifts. I can't figure out why some of them are so much more expensive. I advise you to get familiar with the ratchet mechanism before putting the belt on so that you don't have trouble getting it back off the first time. I used to use web belts because of the infinite adjustment, but I had to keep tightening them because they slipped. The ratchet belt has infinite adjustment that doesn't slip. It's comfortable and my pants don't fall down once the right position is found. These may soon make the old design with holes obsolete.

I've had to return two of these now. I've outgrown my size 42 belt, and have ordered this "50" because it could be cut down. But upon trying it on, it's 42 inches long. Attached picture: one of my size 42 belts (brown) and this one. Same size.Edit: I'm now wondering if this was a return that someone had already cut down to size. The box it came in was torn and moldy... So that is probably more likely than it being 8 sizes too small.

So this is the second ratchet belt I've purchased thru amazon. I really like the idea, very comfortable for almost any size. This belt however I'm not overly impressed with. While the buckle is nice and what I was expecting, the belt itself is very thin and feels cheap. I'm also concerned with the durability of the release switch for the ratchet itself which also feels a little cheap. I guess I'll just see how long it lasts.

My husband absolutely loves this belt - because of the ratchet system, the leather doesn't get that bend or indent as is common with traditional dress belts. I highly recommend this line of products.

Best belt I have ever owned. Packaging and carrying case with a serial number and card is amazing. High quality leather and adjustable to fit. Great ratcheting system, it enables you to get a perfect fit with having belt flat to your waistline and not stuck out from traditional belt clasps.

Very dark brown. Too close to black, imo. Product is okay, otherwise. These kind of buckles are heavy.

I like the buckles, lots of selections. What's great is there are no holes in the belts. They are adjust to your waist size with just a few clicks. I bought another one.

Can be worn dressy or for everyday wear.
