Fabulous craftsmanship : Unique design
These shoes exceeded my expectations in quality and comfort. The leather workmanship is clever in design and looks like an old world cobbler sat at his bench stitching and sculpting to fit precisely to a mold taken of my feet. The shoes have an interesting design element of enveloping the foot higher over the instep and sides covering more of the foot as it curves towards the ankle than what typical slip-ons or loafers do. It seems like a throwback to the 1940's when most ladies pumps enveloped the foot this way.The fit seems to run slightly narrow, I generally wear an average width, but based on commentary here ordered the wide and it works well for me.The shoes are even more appealing in person than the picture here because the fabulous stitching and small details really look impressive close-up. Because of this, they can be worn in a range of situations including casual, work, afterwork, church functions, etc.

They look good and they feel pretty good.
These shoes are very nice. However, because I have a high instep, they are a little bit difficult to put on. I need a shoe horn to get my foot into these shoes.

Not wide enough
I ordered the C/D wide width and it wasn't enough. I don't think the E extra wide was available at the time. It's a shame too, they're very nice looking shoes, I'm going to try for an exchange to the extra wide.

Major Problem
These shoes have a style defect- the back of the shoe is very hard leather, sharp and cuts into back of ankle/foot. I ordered a few Walking Cradles in similar styles and they all have this same defect. All will be returned.

This shoe is small
I ordered 3 pairs of shoes all in wide width. I could not even slide my whole foot into this pair. If you order this shoe and have a wider foot I recommend 1-1 1/2 sizes larger.

Great shoes!
I love these shoes. They are really well made and very cute, especially with jeans etc. However, have worn them with dresses/skirts too. Very versatile. Lovely suede and leather. Not as much of a padded footbed as other Walking Cradles that I have, but comfortable anyway. The heal is just right for me for casual wear. I plan to get a great deal of use out of these shooties! I did expect the leather to be a bronze color as stated in the descriptor, but it is brown leather. I don't really mind, they are very nice looking either way. They have required no "break in" time. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great Shoes!
I simply LOVE these shoes! I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit and are supportive & comfortable. These did not need breaking in and I can wear these shoes all day AND they fit like a glove! This is my 2nd pair of Walking Cradles and highly recommend them!
