Suitable for the anyone - from hiker, biker, rock climber, fisher, runner, walker, even for around the house - who wants superior moisture management, comfort and support. The major foot arteries are the farthest away from the heart, blood flow is always a challenge making foot pain and Plantar fasciitis treatments very slow. Helping provide fresh increased blood flow to the damaged area and tissue helps heal your feet. Sox Products are created to enhance the support and health of your feet, they do not feel super tight or constricting, just the ideal fit to increase circulation back to your heart. Sox come in 4 different styles, The best compression is always going to be our Over The Calf Graduated Compression Socks The SS1211, the Crew SS3011, the Ped SS4011 and the NEW No Show Ghost SS6011. They all have our exclusive Silver Dry Stat, a bacterial, fungal, and odor resistant fiber that dry very quickly preventing moisture which can lead to blisters. How Compression Socks Work: Compression socks exert a gentle pressure one the legs, reducing the diameter of distended veins, and causing an increase in blood flow throughout the body. Unlike traditional dress or athletic socks, compression socks use stronger elastics to create pressure on the legs, ankles and feet. By compressing the surface veins, arteries and muscles, the circulating blood is forced through narrower circulatory channels. As a result, the arterial pressure is increased, which causes more blood to return to the heart and less blood to pool in the feet. The result is relief to tired, heavy legs. Feel the Difference The ultra thin toe seam construction, superior ventilation, wicking and drying capabilities, provide the protective interface between footwear and foot that prevents friction, blistering and rubbing. No special cleaning instructions necessary - simply turn inside out and machine wash normal! Manufactured using the latest technology and exclusive fibers at Arcos in Italy, leading the way in compression socks since 1998. Trust the only patented graduated compression technology from their trusted brands: Travelsox, Vitalsox, Eurosocks, SOX, Caresox, Arcosox and Worksox.

Inaccurate Size Rating, Weak Compression Fit, and Inaccurate Materials Description, Decent Sock
Looking for compression, then these might not be the ones for you. Worn as a standard sock, they fit relatively good (granted you downsize by at least 1 size). I bought down a size myself, yet it was still a bit over-sized, but not too much. The recommended size would have likely been way too big and loose. Also be aware, that the materials description is inaccurate. The composition on the packaging states 75% Drystat, 10% Microsupreme Acrylic, 10% Lycra, 5% Nylon. Product page says 70% Drystat, 10% Lycra, 10% Nylon, 10% Spandex. To confuse matters more, the manufacture website depicts 75% Drystat, 15% Lycra, 10% Nylon. Laziness, Incompetence, or deception ... who knows. Either way it's not exactly reassuring if these details matter to you.Looking past the discrepancies, the socks are not bad. My biggest beef is the content of acrylic in the sock, which wasn't mentioned. As far as synthetic textiles, I do have my bounds for toxicity concerns, and bad eco profile -- Acrylic is one of them. Moreover, acrylic is one of the least durable synthetic fibers. Not surprisingly, it's also the cheapest syn fiber to produce. Personally, for $10+/pair I prefer a little better. A Very Good Travel Sock
I intermittently suffer from plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and as an airline pilot clearly travel a lot. I was looking for a black crew sock that that had some compression for my plantar fasciitis and decided to try these. Overall these are very good socks. Being compression socks they obviously tend toward being snug and indeed they are (when in doubt order up a size.) I wear a size 12 shoe and the XL fits well. They are comfortable on long flights (though I'm glad to get them off at the end of the day,) but most important to me the "plantar fasciitis support zone" really does help keep my arch comfortable even during plantar fasciitis episodes. They are wicking and antibacterial, and in my experience stay dry all day under reasonable circumstances. I am pleased with my Travelsox and plan to buy more.

This item has pros and cons
Good fit. Neat, stylish looking sock. Very comfortable. Nice style for wearing for casual work days, weekends, and gym. I would love to give them more stars but I don't find them all that "wicking". Sweat builds up no matter what type of footwear I have on, but if I take my shoes off, the sweat dissipates after about 10 minutes. Big selling point for me is the antibacterial/antifungal properties of the silver. Still deciding whether I want to buy more of this item.

Not for medical compression
Very similar to Travelsox SS3011 but thicker cushioning (quite thick). Compression is below 10 mmHg and is not graduated - not for medical use. Compression does not extend to ball of foot. If your edema is mild and doesn't extend up the calf, you could try the Vitalsox VT6810. For an actual medical grade, below-the-calf compression sock, consider the Ames Walker 130 - $13 prime.

Great socks, helped with plantar fasciitis problem
I have plantar fasciitis and these socks gave immediate relief as soon as I put them on. I know it is hard to believe but these socks felt like a nice "hug" for my feet and they immediately helped relieve the pain. I have these crew socks as well as the low-cut style. I live in Florida so I got the low-cut so they're not too hot. I wore these crew socks on a plane trip along with my Asics sneakers (also good for my plantar fasciitis) and I was able to make the trip without too much pain and I believe these socks were part of the reason. At least these work for me and my problem.

Be aware: these are NOT compression socks
They fit and feel just like ordinary socks. I've purchased now a variety of compression socks from different sellers and brands as I need ankle compression and arch support for a torn tendon. Although they are pretty good looking, they are too thin around the calf and ankle while they are very think and padded on the toes and heels. I don't know how they could be 'dress' socks as they would not fit well in regular shoes given how thick they are.I have already started the return process.

Great socks but tight--maybe a little too tight if you are at the top of the sizing for a specific range. I'd order up one size
I ordered these for myself (woman), selecting size large. I wear a size 12, women's. My calves aren't large but they aren't skinny either. This sock (large, men's) fit very well in the foot--but the calves feel very tight. I know these are compression socks and they should be tight--but I think these may be a little too tight. Its worth noting that the sizing on the package indicates up to a Woman's 12 and a Men's 11 for Large. I wear a men's 10.5 so I'm at the top of the size large chart. I've ordered in size XL. Hopefully the fit in the foot will still be okay and the calves will be just a little bit less tight. If so, perfect. I am VERY impressed with the design and quality of these socks. I also agree with other reviewers that these socks will not dry very fast - they are pretty thick in the foot with all the cushioning.
