Dodie is a creative dynamo. Her sense of melody and lyrics are magical and gorgeous. Her production and recording craft, use of instruments, unexpected assymetrical measures in the forms of her songs, her gorgeous voice and harmonies, synth textures, chord movements, concepts for drums and percussion are all astounding to me, and I'm an avid music historian including of Jazz. She's not coming from Jazz and she's inspiring me to continue writing my own material. I wish Dodie a very very long career to see what kinds of music this phenomenal artist can write. And this is just her music! She wrote a book, published by Simon and Schuster, she's a renaissance woman. I haven't been this affected by an original songwriter in a very long time. I'm buying her book next. Thank you, Dodie Clark!

This album is beautiful. Dodie has a gift for lyrics and an incredible voice. I'm one of the few people still actively purchasing CDs - I love listening to an album start to finish while driving - and this one is excellent. Was very happy that Amazon US had this in stock so I could get it quickly even though it is from the UK. I tend to enjoy a lot of UK artists and I appreciate how accessible that this was.

Got as a gift, but I like this artist myself. As loving the singer/songwriter genre, dodie's music can be relaxing or even nice to vent to. This album only has, I believe, seven tracks, so if you want her music, I'd recommend getting it digitally, unless you don't mind spending a few more bucks for a physical! Some of her more popular songs are also on here.

I've been following dodie since before her first EP, and Human does not disappoint. I've been listening to it on repeat since it came out, and my favorites are She and Monster (go see the music video directed by PJ by the way, its amazing!) but every single song is absolutely amazing. I see this being my favorite album for a long time to come. If I could give it a 10/5 I would.

I guess she wasn't but her talent was hidden from me until I found her by accident in YouTube. Great Lyricist and singer, jer voice might not be potent by I love her.

Great album

Short and sweet, but every track is brilliant. Buy it!

chilled out clear lyrics with a message. A voice that can only come from an angel. Fantastic music. A must have for any collection.

Apart from the Singles I have to say I was quite under whelmed by this debut. I think its Charting here in the UK reflected the same feeling as my own.

Brought this for my son really, but enjoyed it! The first album arrived scratched for some reason even though it was all shrink wrapped. But Amazon as always easy to return and received a replacement swiftly under Prime.

I love this EP. Original and fantastic lyrics. A real poet. Honest and meaningful music. Not overly produced. Just good quality song writing beautifully executed. Hope to hear lots more from Dodie.
