+ High quality puerh tea! Real joy for puerh lovers! - Misleading photos with wrong harvest date.
High-quality puer tea! For real puerh lovers! Ordered it twice. Will order again. The only thing I was disappointed though is that the cover photo of this product on Amazon was misleading. It says 2018 harvest, though, in fact, it's 2023 harvest, so it's super young for puerh. The seller should remove the photo with the harvest date at all, and include real harvest date for every product.

Changed my mind on this Very Young (8months) Puh-Ehr Tea. It's actually very Good Value, imho!!!
The Production Date Stamp on mine was 11-19-2022, so it was not even 8 months old. And, it also said to USE BY 11-19-2025, which means before it's 3-years old, and went against everything I had ever read about Puh-Erh Teas. However, having now used this for a week, with 9x Refills, every time, and keeping it in my refrigerator, I changed my mind, saying it's actually quite GOOD in Color, Aroma, Taste, Flavor (it was NEVER EVER Bitter, NEVER!!!), and a Great Value, imho. Plus, it is IN-STOCK with Amazon, so you get 1 to 2 day Delivery, instead of a month (or more), for the Teas coming from China. I'm perfectly happy to be drinking this lower cost Puh-Ehr No7 Teas, and appreciate the Great Value and Fast Amazon Stocking Delivery they provide. Nicely Packaged too, so makes a Great Gift, as well. Will purchase again. Finally finished drinking this entire No7 Puh-Erh Tea Cake, from Amazon, on August 13, 2023, about a little over a month for me to consume, and it was Great, to the very last cup-full. This was my very 1st Puh-Ehr Tea Cake, ever, and I must have gotten really lucky, to get this Super Valued Puh-Ehr Tea Cake No7 from Amazon. I already ordered my next Puh-Erh No7 Tea Cake. It was never Bitter, ever, no matter how long it had been sitting in my Refrigerator, and still had lots of Flavor, Taste, Color, and left me with that Great After-Taste in the Back of my Mouth, too. This was a Great Value Drinking Puh-Erh No7 Tea, and after all, that's all that really matters in the end, imho. You can't beat this with a Stick! I highly recommend it, for anyone to try. I say, "Go For It"... woo-hoo... :o)UPDATE: I make a Mistake, above. Do NOT Refrigerate Store your Tea. The drop in temperature will condense any water vapors and Negatively affect the Tea. It might even start growing Mold. Instead, Store Tea in a Cool (room temperature), Dry (low humidity), Dark (little to no sunlight) place with very little daily temperature change. I am now keeping mine inside my bedroom closet, and keep my house temperature daily chages as low as possible. I've been through a lot of Puerh Teas, but in looking back at the 179 and 7, both were very good Puerh Teas in every way, to me, for their price, and I'm ordering more today, before prices go UP from any Politically America imposed Tariffs, and China Teas become harder to Source. The good thing about Puerh Teas, which are all Fermented, is they just keep getting better with age, unlike all the other kinds of tea, which are Oxydized, so keeping them properly in Storage a long time is OK. Live and Learn. v/r, AAHB :o)

Amazing Quality and Cool Packaging!
I was amazed today when my No7 Puerh Raw tea arrived from jinglong tea company. This is my third purchase from this company and I am very impressed with the way this tea tastes so fresh and is packaged in a really neat and creative way. I have bought loose teas from a number of places and a lot of them seem to oxidize after a short time while all of these teas I have ordered I've never had that happen, I am no tea expert but I think that is an indication that it is packaged and stored with care and doesnt get all dried out or have any chemicals added. I love this place and will be ordering tea here for a long time, THANK YOU!

Nice mid priced Pu'er Tea Cake
I was introduced to this tea by a colleague in Shanghai who knew I preferred fermented (black) tea over green tea. Since I moved back to the US, Amazon has been my source for this tea. I have received good and bad, this one is one of the better cakes I have received. It is still a little looser in the cake than my original. On the positive side, that makes it easier to get the tea loose to steep. It comes nicely packaged if you are looking to make it a gift. The steeped tea is a warm cinnamon color with good flavor and color over a couple steeps.

Extreme Fishy Taste
WARNING: absolutely disgusting tea! Unless you like fishy overtones with a mud puddle background. I've drank tea for over 30 years and traveled all over the world. This is easily one of the worst teas. BTW - I did as directed, soaking the leave for 20-30 seconds. Followed by a rinse. Still tased so bad, cinnamon could not cover the fishy taste. Bought it because tealovers.com recommended it. I would not trust their recommendations.

A good Pu-erh for everyday
I drank this Jinglong Puerh Tea 179 along with several different Pu-erh teas for comparison over the last several months (see my review of Jinglong Puerh Tea No3). I like the Pu-erh tea 179 very much. It has an earthy and smooth flavor with a very slight hint of a mineral or metallic undertone - very pleasant. I use the rinse-then-brew method and then steep for 3 minutes after the initial hot rinse. I really like this Pu-erh best cold - I keep it bottled in the refrigerator. I think that slight hint of a mineral undertone makes it more refreshing cold than some other Pu-erh teas.

Broken pieces of pottery
I love puerh tea and really love most varieties i found on amazon. But unfortunately i Found a bunch broken pieces of pottery in my tea 😭. Lots of long stems. And was just bland.

Beautifully Packaged
I enjoyed the packaging and the tea smells great but the flavor is a bit fishy. Great value if thats your thing. I will use it but only when I desire invoking a memory of fish camps in Alaska with a cold smoke going and salmon drying on racks in the sun. Thats the memory I cherish when tasting this tea. Not a daily drinker for me though.
