I replaced the stock Sony flip-up cap with this one when the original developed a habit of opening without my urging :( Nice tight fit and the cord is long enough without being a nuisance when recording.Recommended !

lens cap does not fit Sony DCR-DVD205 camcorder
I thought it was going to fit but it does not fit the Sony DCR-DVD205 camcorder lens. I would love to return it for my money back. I would also love to have a lens cap that fits my Sony model camcorder!! Is it possible to find one? I still need one and would gladly return this one to get a proper lens cap. This one unfortunately cannot be used for my Sony model camcorder.

Replacement lens cap for sony DCR-TRV22
The cap is slightly loose but does not fell off the lens. It does the job well. Am highly satisfied for the price.
