PERFECT SIZE FOR TODDLERS ...
I ordered this chair for my twin granddaughters. Wanted something sturdy and LIKED that it didn't rock as much as an actual rocking chair. They had a rocking bench that they were always climbing on and falling from, because it rocked so much, they couldn't balance themselves on it -- even though, of course, they shouldn't have been standing on the seat.I ordered it for a Christmas gift and was very disappointed at first when it was sale priced but Amazon said it was temporarily out of stock & more would be coming very soon. Then, suddenly, they said it would be 4 or 5 months before they got stock on this particular chair. I was so upset since time had already passed and it was already mid-January by that time, with my Christmas gift still in limbo. Amazon told me that I could change the order to a different print or color but all they had left then was leopard, cowhide & some other non-girlish print. This would not do because these chairs would be used in the main living room and would look terrible with the room's other furnishings. But, after going back & forth, Amazon came through and suddenly I received notice that the 2 chocolate micro chairs would be delivered to my granddaughters' home in a matter of days. I was thrilled. However, that was on January 18th. Since they live in a different state, I didn't get to see the chairs until mid-February. I was not happy to see that one chair IS chocolate colored BUT the other chair is a very, very dark color - I don't know if it's charcoal brown or brownish black or what. That color isn't even shown as a choice! My daughter thought I ordered them that way so nothing was said to let me know of this terrible difference in the colors of the "matching" chairs. Guess now that they're used, nothing can be done.Aside from that, the twins love the chairs. They do seem very sturdy and, for the price, made well. One can't expect to pay not all that much for a chair and have it finely made, as a more expensive chair would be. It fits its purpose. The girls easily sit in it and enjoy having snacks in front of the TV and at other times when they are just feeding their baby dolls or playing with a game or just relaxing. They are able to push it to different locations in the room, but it doesn't seem to tip easily or fall over easily. Aside from the color thing that upsets me, the chairs themselves are really very nice for the money. One thing I might have done differently if I knew what I know now, is that I might have ordered a lighter color, like maybe the tan micro. I ordered the chocolate because I thought it wouldn't show dirt as much, but I see that it very much shows residue from toddlers' sticky little hands or remnants of a banana or other snack. I know those things don't look as obvious on the lighter micro because I've seen evidence of that. All in all though, I think they were a great buy and I'm glad I didn't have to wait 4 or 5 months for them to arrive. It's so cute to see the girls sitting in chairs that are just the right size for them. By the way, they are almost 2 years old.

Seems pretty good so far...hopeful
Overall seems like a solid piece of furniture. Kiddo loves it and sits in it like an adult, all slouched or legs dangling over. Very cute. It looks like a mini couch so it fits right in with the furniture and we got brown so shouldn't look as dingy over time. I do need to spray it with a furniture guard or something because the type of material catches the many kinds of food LO drops and I need to be able to clean it up like our regular couch. I didn't put the rockers on because he's only 2 and I prefer it to be still. The cats also love it and when he's not in it (or around) they will take a siesta in it. Super cute to see them all in their own "mini-couch". Hope it lasts. I do see a bit of material opening up by the arm so I'm a little nervous as to the durability of the material, we've only had it about a month and a half.

Doesn't have to be a rocker!
Just received this chair today. It came a day early (WAY TO GO AMAZON PRIME!!!) It is a very nice chair. The chocolate microfiber looks great, and is very soft. The biggest worry I had about the chair as I was waiting for it to arrive was the "Rocker" part. I was concerned that my 1 yr old would topple out of the chair when it rocked. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that when it arrived, the rocker parts weren't attached. They are 2 plastic rails with screw holes in them, and you need to install the rails yourself. Now for some I can understand that this would be a problem that they had to install the rockers by themselves, but for me it was exactly what I wanted. I will use it flat for now (as a regular old arm chair), and will install the rails when my boy gets older and more able to control himself. One note, the fabric of the chair is stretched over the frame, and it just staples to the bottom of the chair. Nothing wrong with that, it's exactly how 99.99% of all fabric covered furniture is made today. My chair had a loose staple where it had obviously gotten jammed in the staple gun during assembly, and only one 'leg' of the staple was actually in the wood. Not a big issue, I just pulled the staple all the way out. But I would suggest that folks check the staples and make sure there aren't any loose ones for their little ones to grab/put in their mouths. All in all, this is an excellent chair, and my boy was so happy to get it. He was jumping up and down on it and climbing in and out of it all day long. He just loves to climb on things, and it is a real problem for his mom and I to keep him off the furniture so he doesn't crack his skull open. So it's nice to have this little chair he can easily get into and out of, and we don't have to worry anymore.

Best kids chairs EVER! Seriously look no further!
We have had these rockers (we actually never put the rocker part on) since Sept 2012 and they have held up wonderfully!! To the person who reviewed that theirs fell apart with their 11 month old they must have a dog tearing it up!! My daughter is 2 months from being 5 years old and my son turned 3 four months ago. They are rough and tough on these chairs have flipped them, rolled them, pushed them off the couch, stacked them, peed and thrown up on them, and just about everything in between! The only part that's torn is the thin liner underneath where the rockers go. Not a single year or rip in the fabric, nothing has broken. They wipe down EXTREMELY easily which was a must...the fabric is a fine microsuede. If they can he up that well for over 2 years 4 months then they are awesome in my book! In fact, two of my friends have purchased these after seeing how well they have held up. And they fit my almost 5 year old fine, and they fit my son when he was just 14 mos when we first got them. We also loved the color because they aren't covered in characters that they will outgrow quickly, and they blend into our own decor.
