Simcoe Step Through Classic RD8 Cruiser Bicycles

This is the best bike I have ever owned or ridden. I started out looking for a vintage Schwinn like I had in my youth. I am so glad I started researching bike companies and selected this one. Everything on this bike is well thought out. I absolutely love it. The four step paint process gives the paint a different feel and a different look. The unique shifting mechanism is easier for me that the traditional kind. It seems simpler and less hard on my wrists than switching gears by twisting (I have repetitive wrist injuries.) My back actually feels great and stretched after a ride, not sore with hunched shoulders and neck like when I ride my Giant mb. I bought this bike for pavement and city riding. That is what it is designed for, with slimmer, quicker tires that roll easily and fluidly. If you are planning to ride trails, rocks, grass, and other rough surfaces, this is not the bike for you. If you want to ride through paved parks and bike trails, you will be ecstatic with this bike. I got the "midnight blue" and it is more of a deep teal. Beautiful. Had the bike put together by a professional because some of the wheels needed alignment after shipping. Simcoe will only warranty wheels, etc if your bike is put together by a licensed professional. My bike did not need any warranty work but the added expense was worth it to me to be certain it would be covered if there were an issue. This bike brings me a lot of joy and I am riding it every day. Very comfortable bike! So glad to own it! Thank you, Simcoe and Amazon!
