Not as pictured, but not a bad bike.
First off: I got this bike on a ridiculous sale through Amazon, so I'm probably a little kinder than I would be otherwise.First off, it is not as pictured. Plain vinyl saddle, generic fork, Kenda tires. The saddle is junky, the Kenda tires are fine, the front fork isn't as pretty but otherwise probably also fine. Now that we've got that out of the way I have to say that this is a very reasonably priced Real Bicycle for somebody looking for an upright, city-style bike. The Nexus 7 hub is convenient, reliable, and low-maintenance and should provide excellent service for a long time. Parts midrange, and the frame is made in Taiwan. For those not versed in bicycles, that's actually a good thing. This is NOT a Wal-Mart hunk of junk, but a pretty decent city bike that you could get from a bike shop.Bike arrived mostly pre-assembled, and the wheels were true out of the box. Took me maybe fifteen minutes to put together, but I'm a fairly experienced bike mechanic. You'll need some allen keys, cable cutters, and other common hand tools. If you haven't worked on your own bikes a reasonable amount then you should take it to your local bike shop to get them to set it up - they should be able to do it for less than $100.It rides well. It's not as heavy as you might think, and while it isn't fast by any means it doesn't feel like a drag. It's a pleasant cruise, and thanks to the Nexus 7 you can actually negotiate a reasonable range of terrain - the lowest gear is quite low, accidental-wheelie-low. That's a good thing on a bike like that. While I'll probably change a few parts just to improve the fit, I have no major complaints and think that this is a reasonable value for money. As a plus, this bike (in the 22" size) fits both me (6'3") and my wife (5'6-1/2") reasonably well.

Simcoe Get's it!
This bike is beautiful and rides great. The geometry makes it ride different (Better!) than other bikes I've ridden in this category. Small touches like fully enclosed chainstay to protect your pants and leather washers on fenders so they don't squeak show the designers are also riders. Bike also feels incredibly durable compared to others in this category I have tried. There are cheaper options and you will not regret the extra cost on this bike. LOVE IT!
