I bought this camera to keep an eye on my pet rabbits while I’m away, since they can be escape artists. I had looked into multiple cameras, until I stumbled upon this one. Everyone states that it was easy to set-up and user friendly, well they couldn’t be more correct. Set-up was super easy (just make sure you set it up near your router because it won’t connect unless your are almost next to it). Once it was connected, I put it in the room and was easy to move it around the room. Great picture quality and I’m able to talk to them through the camera as well. Great product, would totally recommend!

This unit is easy to set up. I purchased one for my 93-year-old mom so we could keep track of her night time movement in the bedroom. It worked so well, with the remote monitoring using 3 different phones from tree different remote location, I decided to get one for myself for home use when we are away. The cost is very reasonable.Additionally, the 2way audio helps when someone is in the room and you want to communicate with them remotely.Motion detection is right on point, and the night vision is very clear.Captures every alert and send it to your phone, plus will record on an SD card storage .I just love the unit.

I have a earlier version and I liked it. It was made of light materials too which I hoped it improved since then but I guess not. Otherwise, I did like the camera and the app compared to other brands.Pros:- setup was ultra easy! QR scanner recognized it. IZTouch is horrid compared to this!! This was heaven compared to that- Sleek design, cool- hardware included- speaker was pretty loud- metal screw in at the base (some others had it molded in with plastic base)CONs:- slightly larger than prior generation. The previous had a smaller footprint and rounder, lower base. This one stood slightly wider and taller- light, cheapy feeling plasticOverall, I bought Tenvis again because they seemed the better bang for the buck so far. The ease of setup and use and decent app were good selling points. Let's see how durable these are. I will update as something happens.

The media could not be loaded.  I originally bought two of these cameras to use for a indoor pet cam while away from home. They worked perfectly so I bought two more to try out outside my home (wasn't sure about weather resistance). I have had the cameras for over a year and they are still all working perfectly.For the price, this is a great camera. Wifi range is great even for outside placement of cameras which is about 50 feet away from router (plus brick walls and sheet rock). Night vision is decent for the price and the quality is great for price and convenience as well. I am considering purchasing two more for my backyard. Great purchase 5*'s.November 2019 Update:All cameras are still working perfectly. I bought an additional camera recently hoping it would add to the ones I currently have. Unfortunately the new camera I received uses a different app to program or view it. It use to be "iMegaCam" but now it requires "Tenvisty" app. Camera is still great quality but now my other camera are all viewable with the first app and the newest camera requires it's own standalone app. Basically it is a small inconvenience to have to use two separate apps to view all my cameras (5 total).

Before getting into any specifics about the quality and features of this camera, there is one MAJOR FLAW that everyone should be aware of. I did not read this posted anywhere, but granted I did not read every Amazon review.YOU CANNOT COPY, TRANSFER, SHARE OR SAVE ANY OF THE VIDEO FILES THAT THE CAMERA CAPTURES. They are in a proprietary ".PES" format and cannot be transferred from the SD card and viewed or converted to any standard video format. This is unacceptable. I properly installed and used the camera for a couple of days and actually captured a video of something very important TO ME. It is stored in a file on the SD card, but I cannot do anything with it, other than view it on my phone. I cannot move it to my PC where I would like to also be able to view it, and share it with other people. I contacted the Tenvis support and they confirmed that in fact you cannot do anything with the videos other than watch them on your phone. This makes the system worthless in my opinion.As for the quality of the camera, it appears to be reasonably good. The video quality is good, including the night vision. I would give the camera itself probably 3-4 stars. The TENVISTY app/software, on the other hand, is BAD. I would give it zero stars if I could. Just read the recent reviews for it on the Google Play Store. Unfortunately I did not have the foresight to do that before purchasing this camera. I used the Android version. There is no other way that I can find to interface with the camera other than using the TENVISTY app for Android or IPhone. The software is buggy, loses connection constantly with the camera, not intuitive at all and overall just plain BAD. There is very limited ability to control the camera and it appears they implemented only enough "features" to make this software/camera bundle barely functional. The English version of the documentation/manual for the camera and software was obviously written by someone who does not speak English. It can be very hard to understand and lacks the necessary detail to be usable.For these reasons, particularly the inability to save video files, is why I am returning this camera for a refund asap.
