ThrivingPets Aluminum Hydroxide Powder USP 50g

After reading reviews I decided to order directly from TP (received mid-July). It does now come in fine granules and is no longer a powder. I sent TP an email asking why the change but have not seen a response. As I am close to end of powder decided to try to grind granules. I took 1/8 tsp, put in ceramic bowl, used bottom of stainless steel measuring cup and ground into powder. It equaled the 1/8 tsp. Just more effort on our part to get powder results. Will now be able to successfully use in food for my Himalayan kitty. Also am going to try a manual pill grinder.

This product is a life saver! Our cat has end stage renal failure and we were tasked with getting 1mL of liquid Aluminum Hydrox twice a day. That was not going well at all for either one of us. I add 1/4 tsp twice daily to her food and done! No more fighting to get liquids down. Plus, the concentration of this product is a little higher than others so we use less. It may seem pricey, but the jar will last a VERY long time. We just returned from the vet and a lab draw. Phosphorus level is in normal range. THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU!

The product was recommended for my cat Who has kidney failure by his veterinary. He just went for a check up and the vet said he was much better and the medicine is working. Therefore, I am happy and Irecommend the product. Use only with the supervision of a vet.

We purchased this product to replace the expensive vet prescription for our 19 year old CKD cat. Not only is there a significant cost savings but the product itself is exactly the same as the prescription and works just as well. It is easy to measure and we mix it right in with his food. There is no flavor and he eats it without issue. Highly recommend and will buy from again

My dog has stage 3 kidney disease. This product dissolves well into her food. Her blood panels are consistently better.

My cat is the world's fussiest and it is a battle to get any medication into her but this truly is totally tasteless and mixed with her food, she takes it readily.Seems to be helping her renal function too.

Very disappointed that Thriving pets has switched from the light powder to this more granular product. It does not mix as well in the cats' food, so now they can tell it's in there and won't eat their food. The old "powder" melted to nothing when you mixed it into the food so they never knew it was there.
