Colora Henna Powder, Gold Brown

Depending on your starting hair color, the color may completely be different from what was expected. Even though I bought golden brown, I ended up light red, almost auburn because my starting hair color was blonde. I was ok with that even though I really wanted a golden brown. See attached picture of their coloring chart. It is accurate! I used boiling water to mix the henna powder, and added a little red vinegar. I let the “mud mixture” cool off enough so it was only warm to the touch when applied. I then put a shower cap on my head to cover all the hair, and wrapped a towel on top. An hour later I rinsed and shampooed everything off. It colored all my hair superbly with a vibrant red.

So glad Amazon carries this product since my local store closed; like this product since the color is consistent and I get more than one treatment out of each package although I have very long hair

Beautiful color overall, easy to apply

I use pure henna power but was looking for a henna power that can give some golden brown color and saw this one and ordered. But when it turned to be the worst product and I had to throw it in trash on the same day. Once I mixed it was like a sand and dang mix and not at all sticking to hair and very difficult to apply I kept trying trying but it just not sticking to my hair at all and getting spilling out. I got frustrated as the pure henna I use used to be very very good and I felt bad that I unnecessarily bought and wasted money. Don't ever buy it

Well what works for one doesn't necessarily mean it will work for someone else. My sister loves this product but it didn't work for me.

I have been using henna for my hair almost for 15 years.this is the worst henna i have ever used.Normally when you mix henna with water it smells sharp henna smell,and if you touch it with your fingers it would stain for weeks.This is why we use henna in our culture to color hands,feet,hair.specially at weddings as part of the celebration.This one didn't even stain a bit on my fingers while i was coloring my hair.my hair turned little bit red color that was it.Good henna should stain very dark red soon as you put your fingers in and stay like that for weeks.this one by far the worst quality henna i have ever used.I will import my henna next time.

I used this product years ago ---and am glad to have found it again. It is a great conditioner, leaving my hair nice and shiny (although it can be a little messy). Golden brown is my natural hair color, so it worked-out great.
