Easy Setup! So thankful to have unit, since I live in Iowa where outside temp is important in the winter. Just wish a light had been built into the unit. At night have to turn on the dome light to see if roads are freezing or not! Not the best thing to do while driving!

Had a truck without outside temperature gauge and thought I'd give this one a try. It is working well. The lead was a little short but found a way to make it work. Good for the price.

the outside temp wire is not long enough to reach front of vehicle

Seems accurate, easy to install but pick a place that the steering wheel spokes won't obstruct. I didn't think about that until it was too late.

I installed this in my car a few days ago so I could check the outside temps in really cold weather. It's got two buttons that are supposed to let you check the current temps and the high temps, but both are giving the same info, neither of which is accurate. AND, it apparently does not have an on/off switch so there's no way to prolong the battery life. Which doesn't matter since it doesn't work properly.

They had to a short wire for the outside temperature to put on the radiator support.3 out of five were reasonable accurate.

Not even close to accurate. Save your money.Unit wasn't reading correctly so I removed the the battery let it sit for a day put the battery back in and it appear to be correct. Came back the following day and it was reading higher then temp. Put it next to a known working thermostat and this unit was off by 18°. Again removed the batteries put them back in and the unit was off by 27°.***Update, 29 days after receiving, it quit working, see picture.

Slow shipping and no illumination. Other than that, it works great and seems well made.
