I have pin straight hair and have tried many curling iron and products over the years and nothing has worked or kept a curl. My hair stylist recommended I try this and it actually works and works really well

I have only used the wand once so far but I was impressed with the quality. It was very easy to use with the glove. I loved the outcome of the curls and received many compliments.

First off, this is a high-end, professional-quality – manufactured product. Why the three stars then? Well, I take original price point into account with all my reviews, I don't consider them at the discounted value I got them for. This curling iron is nearly $70 full price, and that is quite a price tag to live up to. For half that price, you can get a similar ceramic curling wand with more attachments and accessories. That being said, let me describe some of the good features of this product first. The ceramic barrels are high-quality and heat up very fast. There is a selection of three sizes and shapes, so you can get everything from a thick barrel spiral curl to one of varying narrow diameters. There are three heat options, 250, 350, 450 degrees F – I suggest that you stay at 350 or below (less if you have finer hair or an artificial wig), even if you had thick hair – 450 can be damaging to the follicle. You also get a free thermal glove with the iron, and the whole thing fits into a cylindrical container.Now the bad– You'll need that thermal glove because there is no clamp to get hair anchored to a curling wand, as opposed to what many curling irons have. This takes some getting used to, because the hair will slip and you have to hold it as you are turning the iron. I glove my left hand and turn with my right, but this is a personal preference. I'm not a big fan of not having the clamp, because I don't like to see the ends not curled in. When curling improperly, if you don't curl all the way to the end, you get a straight messy tip (though not quite a fishhook, which happens with clamp irons, when you curl the hair in the wrong direction against the clamp). This is a pet peeve of mine, and it is tough to avoid wands like this (I show this in the middle picture). This one is best for making soft "beach waves", a messier, looser wave than is my preference.Let me say, it is not that I am totally unfamiliar with clamp-less wands. I worked my way through med school in cosmetology – primarily in nail designs, but also did some limited hairstyling. So I know a good quality iron when I see one, and I can't deny that this was made well – but value per dollar is another thing. I just think that this is a better wand for someone who does hair for someone else; it takes a lot of dexterity and work to curl your own hair this way properly, with the glove winding it around to the hair ends, especially in the back. It seems like too much trouble for someone like me who just wants quick, casual daily curls.Also, I wish they put one small detail into this – which is some sort of kickstand or a loop that would allow it to hang on a rack. I have limited shelf space in my bathroom and must hang my small appliances on hooks. As you can see, I have to lay this lengthwise across hooks. In the end, I think I will just stick with my cheap Vidal Sassoon curling iron most days. It's not even ceramic and takes forever to heat up, but it's practical once it's hot and easy to use, plus, it will curl the ends in as I like them.

I received this very quickly and coming from being a hairstylist and having a high end curling wand this is great and at a fraction of the price. My girls and I love it for it's versatility in getting a variety of curls with just 1 tool.*I received a discount for my review.

It takes a lil adjustment to switch from a traditional iron to this. So worth it though.I recieved this at a discounted rate, for an honest review

I love this curling wand. The interchangeable heads make it perfect for traveling as I don't need to carry 3 different size barrels anymore. They heat up amazingly quick too! Quickest I've seen. Highly recommend.
