Perfect size and shape.
I was worried about the size from the negative reviews about size but it's perfect. I found one long "tuperware" and two smaller ones that carry more than enough food for my days work as a pilot. Mind you, I don't have to carry drinks but I can carry more than enough food, snacks, etc for a 12 hour day. The size is perfect to sit on top of my flight bag and has enough pockets to put my small items like passport, ID, key,etc. Needless to say, it get's used quite a bit and it's very well made. If you need a half a turkey for lunch, it's going to be tight, but you can pack a full chicken. Thanks eBags!

not wide enough, what a pity!
updated on Dec 6th, 2011.the bag is well built, and we kept and used the bag. what we did was to purhcase a 5" container, the Lunchbut, it fits perfectly.I wish the uper compartment also had insolations so I could store drinks there, while i use the main compartment for hot food containers, they need to be separated.I bought this for my son in 6th grade for carrying hot lunch in a thermal container, 0.9 L. 5" width is not enough to hold such a container which has diameter of 6". Otherwise this would have been a perfect bag in design, features and quality

This is a great bag for lunch.
I love this bag ... it's just the right size for me. It's not overly large and in the main compartment, I can fit a can of soda, a yogurt, a sandwich, and an ice pack. There are a number of other side pockets for other items. Well made. Quality. Perfect!

Great bag the best ever
Been using for a month works as described. Keeps a whole days worth of food and drink cold for a 12 hour shift. Great dry storage areas, I just frezze a bottle of water over nite and use it to keep other chilled food cold all day, just keep the cover closed and your good. Next redesign put the handles on the lower portion of the bag, have to make sure you zip the upper part before picking it up, you will only do this once if you can learn, some people can't learn.......
